DeMarco Murray to miss Week 7, "could" return in Week 8

Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray got off to an excellent start on Sunday Night Football, but he unfortunately left the game early with a knee injury.

Murray, who sprained his MCL, had 50 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown before being injured in the second quarter.

Although he is expected to miss Week 7 against the Eagles, Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram tweets that Murray "could" return in Week 8 against the Lions.

Through Sunday's games, Murray ranks seventh in the NFL among running backs in yards from scrimmage (592).

In relief of Murray, Joseph Randle had 11 carries for just 17 yards and a touchdown. While I would prefer Lance Dunbar, if healthy, over him, Randle will be one of the more added running backs on the waiver wire this week.
