Marvin Jones sets franchise record with 4 TDs

One of the players on my waiver-wire list earlier in the week was Bengals wide receiver Marvin Jones, who at the time was owned in just three percent of Yahoo! leagues.

It's fair to say that number will change this week.

In the team's rout of the Jets, Jones had a career day with eight catches for 122 yards and four touchdowns, which is a franchise single-game record.

Five other Bengals players have had three receiving touchdowns: Carl Pickens (four times), Chad Johnson (three), Isaac Curtis (twice), Cris Collinsworth and Bob Trumpy (once).

Jones has now scored in three consecutive games and has 24 receptions for 369 yards and seven touchdowns on the season.

Meanwhile, Andy Dalton threw for 325 yards and a career-high five touchdowns. He now has a streak of three games with 300-plus yards and three-plus touchdowns. In addition, receiver A.J. Green had three catches for 115 yards, which extends his 100-yard game streak to three games as well.
