C.J. Spiller rushes for season-high 116 yards
Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller has been one of the biggest disappointments in fantasy football this season, but he had his best performance of the season today after sitting out last week due to his ankle.
Despite getting only 12 carries and facing a tough Chiefs defense, Spiller gained a season-high 116 yards on the ground. It was Spiller's eighth career 100-yard rushing game. In addition, he caught two passes for another 39 yards today.
One of the most explosive backs in the league, Spiller had three plays greater than 25 yards: runs of 29 and 61 yards and a 27-yard reception.
The duo of Spiller (155 yards from scrimmage) and Fred Jackson (99) combined for more than 250 YFS yet the Bills lost by 10 as the Chiefs extended their perfect record to 9-0 led by a pair of defensive touchdowns.
The Bills face the Steelers and Jets in Weeks 10 and 11 before their Week 12 bye.
