Knowshon Moreno rushes for a career-high 224 yards and a TD

Blowing a 24-point lead to the Patriots, the Broncos suffered a disappointing loss in overtime on Sunday Night Football in arguably the best football game of the season.

As you could imagine, it was the largest lead that Peyton Manning had ever had in a game he's lost while also being the largest deficit ever overcome by Tom Brady.

That said, Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno certainly did not disappoint his fantasy owners.

One week after carrying 27 times, a season high for him at that point, Moreno carried the ball 37 times tonight for a career-high 224 yards, which is the highest total this season by any running back, and a touchdown.

Moreno's performance ranks third all-time among Broncos running backs behind Mike Anderson (251 yards) and Clinton Portis (228). It was Moreno's first 100-yard game of the season and only the fifth of his NFL career.

Next week, Moreno and the Broncos will face the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.
