Bears RB Matt Forte extends 100-yard rushing streak to 3 games

Regardless of whether Josh McCown or Jay Cutler is under center, Bears running back Matt Forte continues to run the ball well.

For a third consecutive game, Forte surpassed 100 yards rushing. In the team's win over the Browns, Forte finished the game with 24 carries for 127 yards and a reception for four yards as well.

Not only did Forte extend his streak of 100-yard games to three games, it was the first time this season that the Browns allowed a 100-yard rusher. (That said, they allowed Patriots running back Shane Vereen to catch 12 passes for 153 yards last week.)

On the season, Forte has 1,197 rushing yards and 522 receiving yards. His career highs are 1,238 rushing yards (2008) and 547 receiving yards (2010).

Next week, the Bears will face the Eagles.
