Ben Tate goes over 100 yards and scores 3 TDs vs. Patriots

Texans running back Ben Tate had a game to forget last week with seven carries for just one yard against the Jaguars.

Although the club extended their losing streak to 10 consecutive games, it was a much better day on a personal level for Tate this week.

Tate scored three times as many touchdowns this week as he had rushing yards last week with a 22/102/3 performance against the Patriots.

Change-of-pace back Dennis Johnson, who led the team in carries last week, had only three carries for 13 yards and one reception for 11 yards.

Next week, Tate and the Texans will face the Jaguars again. Although the Jags limited Tate to one rushing yard last week, they entered the week with the 30th-ranked rush defense.
