Eric Decker sets career highs with 174 yards and 4 TDs
Technically both broke their own records that they had set earlier in the season, but neither Gordon nor Jeffery was the top-scoring fantasy wide receiver through today's 4 p.m. games.
Instead that receiver was Denver's Eric Decker, who last week had only one catch for five yards.
With a win over the Chiefs, their second in the past three weeks, Decker had eight receptions for a career-high 174 yards and four touchdowns today. Before today's game, Decker had just three touchdowns in 11 games and today's outburst ended a four-game streak of games with single-digit fantasy points.
On the season, Decker now has 63 receptions for 971 yards and seven touchdowns.
Although Demaryius Thomas did not score today, he had three receptions for 106 yards. That means, Thomas has six consecutive games with double-digit fantasy points.
Once again, however, Wes Welker had a dud performance with three catches for 38 yards. After scoring nine touchdowns in the first eight weeks, Welker has no touchdowns in four consecutive games and less than 40 yards in three of those games.
Next week, the Broncos face the Titans, who entered this week allowing the fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season.
