Glazer: Wes Welker (concussion) is "out" for Week 16

While far from shocking (as I left him out of my Week 16 fantasy rankings), Broncos slot receiver Wes Welker will not play this weekend, per Fox Sports' Jay Glazer (via Twitter).

After sustaining a concussion in Week 14 and sitting out in Week 15, Welker still wasn't cleared to practice today.

With six receptions for 59 yards and two touchdowns last week, Andre Caldwell should be the biggest beneficiary once again from Welker's absence.

Considering there are a ton of talented pass-catchers in the team's offense, however, it's unlikely that Caldwell catches another two touchdown passes this week. That said, there should be plenty of opportunities as the Texans try to slow down Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker and Julius Thomas.

Caldwell is currently my 32nd-ranked receiver in standard-scoring formats for Week 16.
