Josh Gordon breaks Browns single-season receiving record

After setting the Browns' franchise record with 237 yards in Week 12, Browns second-year receiver Josh Gordon broke his own record with 261 yards for an encore last week.

In the process, Gordon became the first player in NFL history to have back-to-back 200-yard games.

While he did not finish with 200 yards today, it was another stellar performance for the stud receiver. Gordon finished with seven catches for 151 yards and a touchdown and he had one run for 34 yards.

In fact, he led the team in both receiving and rushing today as Willis McGahee gained only 33 yards on 14 carries.

Gordon has scored and finished with at least 125 yards in each of his past four games. During that span, he has 36 catches for 774 yards and five touchdowns plus 34 rushing yards. He is averaging 202 yards of offense per game over that stretch.

With today's performance, Gordon broke the single-season receiving yardage record (1,400 yards) that was previously held by Braylon Edwards (1,289) in only 11 games.

The Browns face the Bears in Week 15.
