Kirk Cousins throws for career-high 381 yards and 3 TDs

With Robert Griffin III resting up for the offseason, it was fellow second-year quarterback Kirk Cousins under center for the Redskins today.

Like in his only other career start, Cousins threw for more than 300 yards and had multiple touchdown passes.

A failed two-point conversion means the Redskins dropped to 3-11 on the year, but Cousins completed 29 of 45 pass attempts for a career-high 381 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.

While Pierre Garcon led the team in receiving (7/129/1), both Garcon and Aldrick Robinson had receptions of greater than 50 yards. In addition, Cousins completed passes to a total of nine different receivers.

Facing the league's most generous fantasy defense for quarterbacks next week, it's possible/likely that plenty of owners will rely on Cousins to lead them to a title.
