Vikings RB Adrian Peterson rushes for 211 yards in OT win vs. Bears
In last week's tie to the Packers, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson carried the ball 32 times for 146 yards, both of which were season highs, and a touchdown.
For a second straight week, Peterson and the Vikings went to overtime with a division rival. This time, however, they came up victorious and that was in large part to Peterson's efforts.
Carrying the ball 35 times for 211 yards today, Peterson now has five 200-yard rushing games in his career.
On the season, Peterson has 261 carries for 1,208 yards and 10 touchdowns. (At this point last year in his near-record campaign, Peterson had 1,446 yards.)
Since Week 6, the Bears have allowed a 100-yard rusher six times with the 95 yards by Washington's Alfred Morris being the lone exception during that span.
Next up for the Bears is Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray on Monday Night Football.
