Jaguars WR Ace Sanders suspended four games

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Ace Sanders is facing a four-game suspension to start the season for violating the league's substance-abuse policy, per Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times Union.

Sanders will be allowed to be around the team during his suspension, but he is expected to be away from the team during training camp as he seeks help.

Eligible to return to action on October 5th vs. Steelers (Jaguars 2014 schedule), the suspension helps Tandon Doss, who is now likely to be the team's primary punt returner to start the season.

While fellow receiver Justin Blackmon is serving an indefinite suspension, Sanders was the team's No. 4 receiver before the suspension behind Cecil Shorts and second-round rookies Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson.

Sanders had 51 catches for 484 yards and one touchdown and averaged 5.6 yards per punt return last season.
