Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart (hamstring) will miss 1-2 weeks

Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart pulled his hamstring recently, but the team will leave him on the active roster.

Coach Ron Rivera said the injury does not sound serious and that Stewart will even participate in some walkthroughs. Meanwhile, GM Dave Gettleman said Stewart will likely be out one to two weeks.

Over the past two seasons, Stewart has missed 17 games while accumulating only 717 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns in the 15 games he has played.

According to reports, Stewart was having an excellent spring and that had his late-round ADP was on the rise.

Even though the hamstring injury doesn't sound too serious, it's another reminder of his general durability concerns.

Along with his durability concerns, DeAngelo Williams should lead the team's committee in workload while both Cam Newton and Mike Tolbert will get the most goal-line carries.
