2013 NFL Mock Draft (Round 5): Kevin Hanson
Updated: Thursday, April 25, 2013 (12:00 AM ET)

The 2013 NFL Draft will be held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on April 25th to 27th.

Below you will find the 2013 NFL mock draft from EDSFootball.com owner Kevin Hanson.

This mock draft will be updated from now until draft day with changes, as needed, and additional rounds will be added as we get closer to the draft.

134. Kansas City Chiefs (draft history) - Joe Kruger, DE, Utah

Brother of Paul Kruger, Joe led the Utes in sacks (six) and has good size, quickness and motor as a pass-rusher.

*** Projected Trade: Jaguars send their second-round pick (33rd overall) and fifth-round pick (135th overall) in this year's draft plus their sixth-round pick in 2014. ***

135. New England Patriots (draft history) - Shawn Williams, S, Georgia

While he made headlines for calling out his defensive teammates for playing "too soft," Williams is a hard-hitting safety and a fierce competitor. He could easily be off the board a round or two earlier than this.

136. Philadelphia Eagles (draft history) - Brian Winters, G, Kent State

The Eagles may need to move Todd Herremans back inside to guard as Danny Watkins, their first-round pick in 2011, has not lived up to expectations thus far. Winters is a good value here.

137. Detroit Lions (draft history) - Jelani Jenkins, OLB, Florida

Having started a total of 31 games at Florida, Jenkins also missed a number of games due to a variety of ailments and had foot surgery late last year. That said, he is an athletic linebacker and reportedly looked good at his pro day.

138. (Via OAK) Seattle Seahawks (draft history) - Dion Sims, TE, Michigan State

A former basketball player at Michigan State as well, Sims has great size (6-5, 285 pounds) to go along with good speed and athleticism to create mismatches.

139. Cleveland Browns (draft history) - Chris Harper, WR, Kansas State

As a bigger and physical receiver (6-1, 229 pounds) often compared to Anquan Boldin, Harper has good speed as well. Last year, he had 58 receptions for 857 yards and three touchdowns.

140. Arizona Cardinals (draft history) - Hugh Thornton, G, Illinois

As noted earlier, the Cardinals allowed the most sacks in the league last year. Lane Johnson and Thornton now provides the Cardinals with a start to rebuilding their offensive line. Thornton has versatility (played guard and tackle), tenacity, good quickness and strength.

141. New York Jets (draft history) - Nick Kasa, TE, Colorado

A bit raw but with upside, Kasa made the switch to tight end from defensive line during his junior season. In addition to having good speed, Kasa is a physical and strong blocker.

142. Tennessee Titans (draft history) - Devin Taylor, DE, South Carolina

Super sophomore Jadeveon Clowney, the No. 1 pick in my 2014 NFL mock draft, got all the attention, but Taylor was a four-year starter for the Gamecocks at the other defensive end spot.

143. Buffalo Bills (draft history) - Chris Faulk, OT, LSU

If Faulk did not tear his ACL early last year, he would have been a much higher pick than this.

144. New Orleans Saints (draft history) - Brandon McGee, CB, Miami (FL)

Ranked as one of the top 100 prospects out of high school by Rivals, McGee never really lived up those expectations in college. He's an athletic corner with decent size with some upside here.

145. San Diego Chargers (draft history) - Marquise Goodwin, WR, Texas

As an Olympian, Goodwin obviously has elite athleticism, however, he has not put up production at Texas to match that level of athleticism. After putting in a good week of practice at the Senior Bowl, that may be as much due to the school's use of Goodwin.

146. Miami Dolphins (draft history) - Oday Aboushi, OT, Virginia

While he started five games in his career at right tackle, Aboushi, a first-team All-ACC selection last year, has started mostly on the left side. In addition, Aboushi may need to move inside at the next level, but both of Miami's starting guards are due to become free agents.

147. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (draft history) - Lavar Edwards, DE, LSU

Having lost Michael Bennett via free agency to the Seahawks, the Bucs will likely look to add a defensive end at some point in the draft. While Edwards did not receive the same attention as Sam Montgomery and Barkevious Mingo, it wouldn't surprise me if Edwards is drafted before Montgomery.

148. Carolina Panthers (draft history) - Terry Hawthorne, CB, Illinois

The Panthers released Chris Gamble earlier this offseason. With good size (6-0, 195), Hawthorne can cover outside receivers and also support the run.

149. St. Louis Rams (draft history) - Tony Jefferson, S, Oklahoma

The Rams have solid starting cornerbacks in Cortland Finnegan and Janoris Jenkins, but they will likely add a safety at some point in the draft. Jefferson had 119 tackles as a junior and a total of eight interceptions over the past three years.

150. Pittsburgh Steelers (draft history) - Kenny Stills, WR, Oklahoma

Stills, son of former NFL player Ken Stills, ran a sub-4.4 forty at the combine and has been productive in Norman. Stills had 60-plus receptions in all three of his seasons and totaled 204 receptions for 2,594 yards and 24 touchdowns in college.

151. Dallas Cowboys (draft history) - Gerald Hodges, OLB, Penn State

Hodges has been a highly productive linebacker and has back-to-back seasons with 100-plus tackles at Linebacker U.

152. New York Giants (draft history) - Vinston Painter, OT, Virginia Tech

In addition to defensive tackle, Painter played multiple positions on Virginia Tech's offensive line, but started last year at right tackle. Giants right tackle David Diehl is scheduled to become a free agent after this season.

153. Chicago Bears (draft history) - Malliciah Goodman, DE, Clemson

Starting left defensive end Corey Wootton is scheduled to become a free agent after the 2013 season and Goodman will help fill the void if the team does not re-sign him.

154. Washington Redskins (draft history) - Aaron Mellette, WR, Elon

The Redskins could use more receiver depth and Mellette is a big-bodied receiver (6-3, 217 pounds) with good hands that was highly productive at Elon. Over the past three seasons, Mellette has 296 receptions for 4,147 yards and 42 touchdowns.

155. Minnesota Vikings (draft history) - Josh Boyce, WR, TCU

The Vikings added Greg Jennings in free agency and Cordarrelle Patterson in round one, but I wouldn't be surprised if they added another receiver later in the draft and do so here with Boyce.

156. Cincinnati Bengals (draft history) - Jordan Hill, DT, Penn State

A nice value this late, Hill gives the Bengals some insurance in case they can't re-sign Geno Atkins after this season and he rejoins former teammate Devon Still.

157. (Via IND) San Francisco 49ers (draft history) - Denard Robinson, WR, Michigan

A former quarterback at Michigan, Robinson gives the Niners a potentially versatile player that can develop as a receiver, line up at times in the backfield and help out in the return game.

158. Seattle Seahawks (draft history) - Connor Vernon, WR, Duke

The Seahawks made a huge splash in trading for Percy Harvin, one of the league's most dynamic players, and giving him a big contract. A couple of offseasons ago, they gave Sidney Rice a contract he has underperformed, which means he may not see all of the remaining $26 million he's due over the next three seasons.

Aside from viewing this mock draft by round,
you can view it by NFL franchise.

159. Green Bay Packers (draft history) - Tavarres King, WR, Georgia

The Packers let Greg Jennings walk via free agency and both James Jones and tight end Jermichael Finley will become free agents after the 2013 season. In other words, I would expect them to add a receiver and/or tight end in this draft as they do here with the Bulldogs leading receiver in 2012.

160. Houston Texans (draft history) - Chris Gragg, TE, Arkansas

The Texans need to add playmakers to go along with Owen Daniels and Andre Johnson. In addition to Cordarrelle Patterson in Round 1, Gragg gives them a speedster that can create mismatches at tight end.

161. Denver Broncos (draft history) - Reid Fragel, OT, Ohio State

Switching to right tackle as a senior from tight end in his first three years at Ohio State, Fragel has the potential to develop into a left tackle at the next level due to his length and athleticism.

162. (Via NE) Washington Redskins (draft history) - Devonte Holloman, OLB, South Carolina

Having transitioned from strong safety to linebacker last season, Holloman is a hard-hitter with coverage skills. Last season, he had 55 tackles, eight tackles for loss, two sacks and three interceptions.

163. Atlanta Falcons (draft history) - William Gholston, DE, Michigan State

Like they have done with cornerback (in my mock), it wouldn't surprise me to see the Falcons double dip with defensive ends as well. The cousin of draft bust Vernon Gholston, William gives the Falcons a player with a lot of upside late(r) in the draft.

164. (Via SF) Cleveland Browns (draft history) - Khaled Holmes, C, USC

Starter Alex Mack is scheduled to become a free agent after the 2013 season and Holmes gives them some insurance if he's not re-signed. That said, Holmes' draft stock has recently taken a hit. Tony Pauline wrote earlier this month that "many are questioning Holmes commitment to football, going as far as saying he doesn’t even like to play the game."

165. Baltimore Ravens (draft history) - Luke Marquardt, OT, Azusa Pacific

Missing all of last season due to a foot injury, the 6-foot-9 tackle had an impressive pro day. Tony Pauline wrote that coaches who attended "drooled over the display of size, athleticism and the way Marquardt effortlessly moved his 317-pound frame around the field."

166. Miami Dolphins (draft history) - J.C. Tretter, G, Cornell

Both of the Dolphins starting guards, Richie Incognito and Lance Louis, become unrestricted free agents after the 2013 season.

167. Green Bay Packers (draft history) - John Simon, DE/OLB, Ohio State

Despite lacking elite athleticism, Simon is a high-motor guy and is extremely strong. Simon, the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year in 2012, had 9.0 sacks, 14.5 tackles for loss and 44 tackles last year.

168. Baltimore Ravens (draft history) - Xavier Nixon, OT, Florida

Nixon possesses the length and athleticism to start at tackle in the NFL, but he has lacked the consistency. Not only is Bryant McKinnie, last year's starting left tackle, a free agent, but Michael Oher will become an unrestricted free agent after the 2013 season.
