With each update, we always all respond to one roundtable question and those performances inspired this week's question.
This update's roundtable topic: Which division leader is most likely to NOT win their division in 2012?
Kevin (follow Kevin on Twitter): Chicago Bears
From top to bottom, the NFC North is currently the best division in football. If it weren't for a blown call in Seattle, the Packers and Bears would be tied for first place in the division.
Although the Bears have a one-game lead over the Packers, the Packers beat the Bears in their first head-to-head matchup. So if they win again (on December 16th), the Packers will own the tie-breaker.
Either way, the Bears have a tough remaining schedule. After losing to Houston last week, they have five more consecutive games against teams with a winning record: San Francisco, Minnesota, Seattle, Minnesota and Green Bay.
John (follow John on Twitter): Chicago Bears
The Bears are the current division leader most likely to not win their division. Although the defense is great this year, the offense has once again sputtered.
In their latest game Sunday night, they were able to put up only six points. Granted the conditions were not great, but this type of offensive effort is characteristic of an up-and-down Bears offense, who relies on their defense for points more than any other team.
The Packers are the most likely team to catch the Bears, although the Vikings are also on their tail. Still, if Green Bay beats Chicago at Lambeau, the Packers will hold the tie-breaker, and I believe will end up pulling out the division.
Dan (follow Dan on Twitter): Chicago Bears
The are only two races left to be decided this year in the NFL for the divisional crown, and that is the NFC North and NFC West.
[Editor's note: I'm guessing Dan has no confidence in the Steelers sans Roethlisberger to close their one-game game with the Ravens.]
Of these two, the only one that will not be left standing in front will be the Chicago Bears. The Bears have gotten off to a fast start, and combined with the Packers slow start sit atop the NFC North. In my opinion, the Packers will win the division title, as they have the tiebreaker over the Bears, and Chicago may be without Jay Cutler for some time due to a concussion.
Sean (follow Sean on Twitter): Chicago Bears
I think the team that is most likely to lose their division lead is Chicago. I just have this feeling that Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are going to rip off six of seven, or even run the table.
The Packers have already beaten the Bears once this year, and the Bears still have major questions on the offensive side of the ball. I don't think the Bears will be the only team though to lose their division lead.
I also think by year's end, the Cowboys will catch the Giants and the Steelers will overtake the Ravens.
Here are some stats on this week's consensus rankings:
- Biggest jump from last update: Cincinnati Bengals and St. Louis Rams (3.75)
- Biggest drop from last update: San Diego Chargers (3.75)
- Team with widest difference between high and low rank: Titans, Broncos, Lions and Chargers (6)

All of our rankings are from owner Kevin Hanson, who finished third overall in accuracy by FantasyPros in 2011.
Here's what FantasyPros wrote (about Hanson) in their year-end announcement of accuracy results:
"... Hanson was a fixture in the top 5 throughout the season and even led the contest heading into the final week. He also owns the distinction as being the only expert to eclipse the 70% PAY™ mark for a single position. ... Simply put, if you needed QB advice in 2011, the ultimate source to go to was over at EDSFootball. That’s not to say that Hanson was a one-trick pony, however. He also earned a top 10 rating at both WR (# 3) & RB (# 8), demonstrating that he’s among the best of the best when it comes to fantasy prognostication."
