With each update of our power rankings, we always all respond to one roundtable question and those performances inspired this week's question.
This update's roundtable topic: Who will be Andy Reid's employer in September 2013?
Kevin (follow Kevin on Twitter): Chargers
Considering I have the Eagles losing in the Super Bowl to the Texans (see my preseason picks), my prediction on where (current) Eagles coach Andy Reid will be employed in 2013 is likely to be wrong. That said, that hasn't stopped me from throwing darts speculating in the past.
With the perceptions of a power struggle in Philadelphia between current Browns president Joe Banner and Reid, I'm going to say it's not going to be Cleveland although it would make sense. The Browns have a trio of rookies at quarterback, running back and as the team's No. 1 receiver and lack of success in their recent past.
The Chargers are expected to fire Norv Turner, and I think that will happen, but who expected Turner to be back this year? It seemed to be a done deal after last season as well. Assuming that Turner is fired after this season, however, San Diego will be one of the first teams in line looking to add the ultra-successful Reid.
While it makes sense that the Eagles would want a "fresh start," Reid has won the NFC East six times and finished second three times (out of 14 years including this season) not to mention getting to the NFC Championship Game five times.
John (follow John on Twitter): Chargers
After losing six games in a row and falling to 3-7, clearly the answer to this question is not the Philadelphia Eagles.
As bad as the year's been, Andy Reid's tenure there has been an impressive era that included five NFC championships and a Super Bowl appearance in 13 years.
When going down the list of places that Reid could end up, I think San Diego makes the most sense. Norv is on his way out and I think Reid will embrace a chance to start over with a talented quarterback who has been way underachieving.
I think he has a good chance to have success there, and help turn the Chargers back into a playoff team.
Dan (follow Dan on Twitter): Chargers
Andy Reid will most certainly be fired by the Eagles this year, and when you add up his results at the end of the day, it was definitely very successful. It does seem that there has been a push lately to hire the young guns out of college, such as Harbaugh, Schiano, and now Chip Kelley is high on the list for many teams that are shopping.
Andy Reid is from Southern California, and if there is one GM who does not mind what others think of him, it would be AJ Smith of the Chargers. I would say that Andy Reid will either wind up in the broadcast booth, or most likely as the head coach of the San Diego Chargers.
Sean (follow Sean on Twitter): Unemployed
Andy Reid will be unemployed next season. I think he takes a year off before stepping back in to coaching in the NFL. If I had to choose one team for Reid it would be Miami but it would be 2014 not 2013.
Here are some stats on this week's consensus rankings:
- Biggest jump from last update: Washington Redskins (4.75)
- Biggest drop from last update: Philadelphia Eagles (4.25)
- Team with widest difference between high and low rank: Cardinals (9)

All of our rankings are from owner Kevin Hanson, who finished third overall in accuracy by FantasyPros in 2011.
Here's what FantasyPros wrote (about Hanson) in their year-end announcement of accuracy results:
"... Hanson was a fixture in the top 5 throughout the season and even led the contest heading into the final week. He also owns the distinction as being the only expert to eclipse the 70% PAY™ mark for a single position. ... Simply put, if you needed QB advice in 2011, the ultimate source to go to was over at EDSFootball. That’s not to say that Hanson was a one-trick pony, however. He also earned a top 10 rating at both WR (# 3) & RB (# 8), demonstrating that he’s among the best of the best when it comes to fantasy prognostication."
