A big year for Crabtree in 2010?

San Francisco 49ers v Philadelphia Eagles

San Francisco 49ers receiver Michael Crabtree held out of training camp and missed the first five games of the regular season. It seemed logical to not expect a high level of production from the rookie receiver.

Instead, Crabtree caught 48 passes for 625 yards in 11 games.

Had he played all 16 games and maintained his average of 56.8 yards per game for the full season, he would have finished the season with 909 yards as a rookie.

This year, Crabtree will have all of the off-season and training camp to get ready for his sophomore season.

"I'm learning routes, and combinations, and even blocking schemes for the offensive line, so we know what's called in the huddle. Everything is looking good," Crabtree said, per Matt Maiocco of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat.

Despite all of the time he missed before seeing game action, Crabtree never had less than three receptions in any of his 11 games. That said, he never had more than 81 receiving yards in any game.

With a full off-season of preparation, I expect Crabtree to easily reach the 1,000-yard plateau and be a solid WR3 (or better) contributor in fantasy football for the 2010 season.
