Green Bay Packers Mock Draft Roundup 2.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft, we will update our Green Bay Packers Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Green Bay Packers from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

The following are picks in recent mock drafts for the Packers:

NFL.com — Eric Edholm

23. Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State

I don't think Green Bay would hesitate to go offensive line in Round 1 for a second straight year, even if the cornerback need feels glaring. Simmons would be a good fit for what the Packers seek in blockers.

CBS Sports — Josh Edwards

23. Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas

The expectation is that Jaire Alexander is not a part of next season's roster. If Carrington Valentine is starting in one of those boundary spots, then the Packers can plug and play Jahdae Barron in the slot.

NFL.com — Bucky Brooks

23. Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas

This could help the Packers move on from Jaire Alexander and others in the secondary. Barron's versatility would make it easy for defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley to carve out a role for the Texas product as a rookie.

Yahoo! — Tice/McDonald

23. Josh Conerly, OT, Oregon

With center Josh Myers hitting free agency, the Packers could be doing some shuffling along their offensive line, which could have them looking to adding to their line room again early in the draft. Conerly Jr. improved rapidly as the season went along, especially with his play strength and ability to anchor as well as using his hands more consistently. Conerly Jr. has the length and athleticism to stay out at either tackle spot, and could give the Packers another option with pedigree to get their "best five" out there.

The Athletic — Baumgardner/Dochterman

23. Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall

Green was a 215-pound linebacker/tight end when he left high school. Now a verified 6-3, 251 as of Senior Bowl weigh-in, he still moves like a 215-pounder off the edge — and an explosive one, at that. The FBS sacks leader in 2024 with 17, Green is still a bit untested, but his traits are ridiculous and his workouts will draw crowds. Green and Rashan Gary could be electric together.

EDSFootball — Kevin Hanson

23. Walter Nolen, IDL, Mississippi

Nolen, the second-ranked prospect overall behind Travis Hunter in the 2022 recruiting cycle, had his best season in his first with Ole Miss, finishing with 14 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks in 2024. He has the traits and quickness to be a disruptive presence next to Kenny Clark in the middle of Green Bay's defensive line.

The 33rd Team — Kyle Crabbs

23. Trey Amos, CB, Mississippi

Green Bay is a team that needs help at some of the premium defensive positions. The edge room and cornerback room both loom as big questions — especially given the uncertainty around the future of cornerback Jaire Alexander. With Green Bay looking promising with their new safety talent, getting perimeter coverage players could help this team serve as a more legitimate contender in 2025 and beyond. Few cornerbacks are more physical and combative in this year's class than Trey Amos, who broke out in a big way in his only season with the Rebels.

NFL.com — Daniel Jeremiah

23. Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M

The Packers love front-seven players from the SEC with outstanding traits. Stewart fits the mold.

ESPN — Mel Kiper

23. Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall

Who knows who was the last first-round pick out of Marshall? You have to go back to 2003, when quarterback Byron Leftwich went No. 7. Leftwich is one of three Marshall first-rounders of the common draft era (since 1967), joining Chad Pennington (2000) and Randy Moss (1998). So it says something that Green could join that group.

Green ranked in the top 10 nationally in sacks (17, first), tackles for loss (22, second) and pressure rate (15.5%, ninth). He wins with speed-to-power, and he displays good bend and strong hands. Despite tying for eighth in sacks (45), the Packers were 22nd in pressure rate (29.8%) and 26th in pass rush win rate (34.8%). This feels like a good fit.
