Kansas City Chiefs NFL Mock Draft Roundup 1.0
Throughout the year and leading up to the 2027 NFL Draft, we will update our Kansas City Chiefs Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Kansas City Chiefs from several prominent sites and draft analysts.
The following are picks from recent NFL mock drafts for the Kansas City Chiefs:
28. Austin Siereveld, OT, Ohio State
Siereveld was the Buckeyes' starting left tackle a year ago and has enough agility and length to remain outside at the next level. I think he might be even better if moved inside, however. He's broad and powerful and plays with a brand of aggression that will make him a favorite of NFL offensive line coaches.
For the Win — Christian D'Andrea
28. Charlie Becker, WR, Indiana
Kansas City's ongoing efforts to keep Patrick Mahomes in butter brickle land on a dynamic, big bodied wideout who has come up big when the Hoosiers have needed him.
27. Jordan Seaton, OT, LSU
The Colorado transfer has an enormous frame with a thick build yet he plays light on his feet, has high-end lateral mobility and anchors well vs. bull rushers. Seaton plays with heavy hands and once he locks on, edge rushers struggle to disengage. Don't be fooled by his size -- his high-end athleticism shines, especially in space, where he can excel as a second-level blocker, and on the perimeter as a lead blocker.
28. Quincy Rhodes Jr., EDGE, Arkansas
Rhodes is a big-bodied base defensive end at 6-foot-6, 275 pounds. Many evaluators thought he would declare for this past draft, as he received Day 2 grades from multiple scouts. He primarily plays 5-technique but is a classic tweener who is capable of two-gapping in a three-down defensive front. While he had eight sacks last season, Rhodes needs to be less prone to volatile highs and lows. The Chiefs took R Mason Thomas in the second round last week, and Rhodes could be a complement to Thomas' speed as Kansas City addresses its future defensive line.
26. Ty Benefield, S, LSU
A Boise State transfer, Benefield is a tall, long defender who topped 100 tackles last season, while making plays both downhill and in reverse.
27. Omarion Miller, WR, Colorado
After a breakout season at Colorado, where he averaged more than 18 yards per reception, Miller is now looking to become the second straight Arizona State receiver selected in the first round. At 6-foot-2 and 210 pounds, the Louisiana native is an easy mover who can win at all three levels, pairing production with traits that could continue to push him up boards.
24. Matayo Uiagalelei, EDGE, Oregon
The Chiefs traded up into the top 10 this year, but not for a pass rusher as many projected before the draft. Their need at the position next year will hinge on the rookie success of second-round pick R. Mason Thomas. Uiagalelei recorded 52 pressures last season and returns to lead what is projected to be the top defensive line in college football.
