San Francisco 49ers Mock Draft Roundup 2.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft, we will update our San Francisco 49ers Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the San Francisco 49ers from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

The following are picks in recent mock drafts for the 49ers:

NFL.com — Eric Edholm

11. Armand Membou, OL, Missouri

It's too bad we didn't get to see him at the Senior Bowl; for a snapshot of Membou's talent, throw on the South Carolina game. He controlled some excellent defensive linemen in that November tilt.

CBS Sports — Josh Edwards

11. Walter Nolen, IDL, Mississippi

With the return of defensive coordinator Robert Saleh, San Francisco needs to re-invest in its interior defensive line to return to the glory years. Walter Nolen is one of the most talented in this class.

NFL.com — Bucky Brooks

11. Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

The return of Robert Saleh as defensive coordinator could prompt the 49ers to invest in a top cover corner to match up with the talented receivers within the division.

Yahoo! — Tice/McDonald

11. Armand Membou, OL, Missouri

Whether it's a new right tackle, interior help, or a Trent Williams succession plan; the 49ers could use an injection of beef on their offense. Membou is a good athlete who played tackle this past year at Missouri, but could kick inside at the next level. He has long arms that can bring some pop with his blocks. Kyle Shanahan likes to ask his linemen to move and be in space, and Membou would fit in nicely somewhere.

The Athletic — Baumgardner/Dochterman

11. Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State

Like Banks, Simmons is a super-athletic prospect who probably could wear a few different hats if a team asks him to. He suffered a season-ending knee injury midway through the season, and it took Ohio State a while to figure out how to play without him. He would be a perfect fit for everything Kyle Shanahan does.

EDSFootball — Kevin Hanson

11. Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas

Banks, who started all three seasons at left tackle, could be the long-term replacement for Trent Williams, who's under contract for another two seasons. While some teams view Banks as a guard, the athletic lineman's positional versatility will upgrade San Francisco's line regarless of where he lines up.

The 33rd Team — Kyle Crabbs

11. Armand Membou, OL, Missouri

Membou is one of the hottest names in the draft space right now. He's a natural right tackle who offers movement in the run game, effective grip strength, and length in pass protection, and many theorize he is positionally flexible to play inside at guard if needed. For the 49ers, there's an opportunity to invest in a group that's sorely lacking when Trent Williams isn't on the field and potentially prep for his eventual departure. He'd be an immediate upgrade over Colton McKivitz.

NFL.com — Daniel Jeremiah

11. Armand Membou, OL, Missouri

Membou is the most technically sound offensive lineman in this class. He reminds me of Aljah Vera-Tucker when he entered the league. Membou will be an exceptional guard who can also play tackle if needed.

ESPN — Mel Kiper

11. Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas

Banks has a ton of experience, having started 42 games over his college career -- and he allowed only three sacks over that time. I'm curious to see his combine measurements -- height might be a question mark if he's 6-3 or shorter -- but he has the movement traits and strength to seal off the edge in pass protection.

The 49ers still have Trent Williams locking down the left side for two more seasons, but he will be 37 at the start of next season. It's time to start planning for the future. Plus, Banks could help on the right side for now, where the Niners have missed Mike McGlinchey (signed with Denver two years ago).
