Tampa Bay Buccaneers Mock Draft Roundup 2.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft, we will update our Tampa Bay Buccaneers Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

The following are picks in recent mock drafts for the Buccaneers:

NFL.com — Eric Edholm

19. Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

If the Bucs move on from impending free agent Chris Godwin, they'll likely want to add a little more firepower at receiver. Golden essentially can play the Godwin role.

CBS Sports — Josh Edwards

19. Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

The competition to be the first true off-ball linebacker taken is wide open. Jihaad Campbell has been in my personal top-50 overall for quite some time, but makes the leap into the first-round projection. He is young, has been well-coached and has the size NFL teams will be looking for at the next level.

NFL.com — Bucky Brooks

19. Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

Third-round rookie Jalen McMillan blossomed down the stretch this past season, but the Buccaneers could still stand to invest valuable draft capital into the wide receiver position, with Chris Godwin on the verge of free agency and Mike Evans heading toward the final year of his contract. Egbuka is a high-floor prospect with WR1/WR2 potential.

Yahoo! — Tice/McDonald

19. Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

This has been one of my favorite pairings on these mock drafts. General manager Jason Licht does a great job of addressing current and soon-to-be holes at positions. Lavonte David is a franchise legend, but inside linebacker is looking like one of those positions in Tampa Bay. Campbell has excellent size (6-3, 244 pounds) with real two-way potential. He can get downhill in the run game, but is fluid enough to turn and run in coverage. His experience as a blitzer will also translate nicely in Todd Bowles' defense.

The Athletic — Baumgardner/Dochterman

19. Jalon Walker, EDGE/LB, Georgia

In case you're starting to sense a theme, Walker also could have a pretty wide draft range. But he's a first-round playmaker. A lighter version of Carter who probably can do more than Penn State's superstar from a coverage standpoint, Walker would fill multiple needs in Tampa Bay.

EDSFootball — Kevin Hanson

19. Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas

Barron is a versatile defensive back with experience at nickelback and outside corner, a reliable tackler in run support, and had five interceptions in 2024. He won the Jim Thorpe Award, which is given to the nation's best defensive back.

The 33rd Team — Kyle Crabbs

19. Shavon Revel Jr., CB, East Carolina

Tampa Bay is another team that simply loves long, physical corners. A healthy 2024 campaign likely sees Shavon Revel off the board by the time Tampa comes on the clock here, but a knee injury shut his season down in September. Revel has the kind of elite length and physicality that Jason Licht and company have gravitated towards forever — and it still feels like he's just scratching the surface of how good he can be.

NFL.com — Daniel Jeremiah

19. Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

They rave about Campbell's leadership and versatility at Alabama. He's a unique player because of his size and length as an off-ball linebacker. With Lavonte David and K.J. Britt ticketed for free agency, the Bucs fill a need.

ESPN — Mel Kiper

19. Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina

Emmanwori has closed the gap with Starks in the safety rankings, and I considered him five spots earlier for the Colts. Emmanwori is going to be a red-hot prospect throughout the predraft process. He has a big frame at 6-3, 227 pounds, but he moves like a smaller defensive back. He picked off four passes this season (two pick-sixes), and he could fit in nicely for the Buccaneers' defense. Emmanwori next to Antoine Winfield Jr. could do some damage to opposing passing attacks.
