Tampa Bay Buccaneers Mock Draft Roundup 3.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft, we will update our Tampa Bay Buccaneers Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

The following are picks in recent mock drafts for the Buccaneers:

NFL.com — Chad Reuter

19. Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M

Stewart's lack of production and lack of elite change of direction are concerning when projecting him as a pure edge rusher. However, teams like Tampa Bay who could use the Texas A&M product as a 5-technique on obvious passing situations will appreciate his strength and versatility.

CBS Sports — Tom Fornelli

19. Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall

The Bucs get a pass-rusher who could prove to be a double-digit sack guy year in and year out. That doesn't happen this late in the first round a lot.

Yahoo! Sports — Tice/McDonald

19. Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

One of my favorite player-team-need fits of this draft. The Buccaneers' roster could look to add a pass rusher here, instead go with Campbell to bridge between now and a post-Lavonte David world. Campbell is a real three-down off-ball linebacker whose pass rushing ability would be unlocked in Todd Bowles' aggressive scheme.

19. Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

This makes so much sense that it can't possibly happen, right? Because of his position — off-the-ball linebacker — Campbell would be a value pick at 19. His tape and workout suggest he should go higher. Campbell also would fill a need for the Bucs, who lost Devin White last year and will need a replacement for 35-year-old Lavonte David at some point soon. GM Jason Licht hardly ever misses, and Campbell looks like the kind of player Licht usually hits on. — Dan Pompei

NFL.com — Daniel Jeremiah

19. Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College

Bucs GM Jason Licht has always valued production, and Ezeiruaku brings exactly that to the table with 16.5 sacks last season. He's one of the most gifted pass rushers in the draft.

Fox Sports — Rob Rang

19. Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

Tampa struggled mightily in defending the pass a year ago, surrendering 27 touchdowns and intercepting just seven passes. Johnson is a top-10 talent who could slip amid concerns about his health after missing much of the 2024 season (and all pre-draft workouts) due to multiple injuries.

CBS Sports — Chris Trapasso

19. Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina

Emmanwori and Antoine Winfield Jr. can be a spectacular safety tandem in Tampa Bay. Electric athleticism and instincts galore.

Fox Sports — Joel Klatt

19. Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

The Bucs had one of the best offenses last year, so I think they can focus on defense here. I really like Campbell's potential. He's an excellent player and would be a natural plug and play type player for a team looking to compete.

ESPN — Mel Kiper

19. Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

Campbell is buzzy right now and rising the board, so he might not be available at No. 19. But if he is there, he'd be a good fit for Tampa Bay. Lavonte David is back, but he is 35 years old. Anthony Walker Jr. was brought in too, but the linebacker room will need more reinforcements. And Campbell would be able to impact multiple phases of this defense with his speed, instincts and versatility. He had 112 tackles, 5 sacks and 4 pass breakups last season.

One other position to watch: cornerback. Tampa Bay's defense had just seven picks last season, and starter Zyon McCollum is signed for only one more year. Texas' Jahdae Barron, who is No. 23 on my Big Board, could fit.

CBS Sports — Mike Renner

19. James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee

James Pearce Jr. has elite juice off the edge. That's something that can be a weapon without even a refined pass-rushing skillset in Todd Bowles scheme from Day 1.

The 33rd Team — Kyle Crabbs

19. Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina

Getting a freak athlete like Emmanwori to play on the back end opposite Antoine Winfield Jr. is an enticing opportunity for the Buccaneers.

If anyone knows how to make the most out of a weapon like this, it's Todd Bowles.
