Emeka Egbuka — NFL Mock Draft Roundup 1.0
Leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft, we will track where Ohio State Buckeyes wide receiver Emeka Egbuka appears in the latest NFL mock drafts.
Emeka Egbuka NFL Mock Drafts
Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Egbuka has appeared:
No. 20 overall — Dallas Cowboys
PROJECTED TRADE WITH DENVER BRONCOS
In this scenario, Dallas moves down for the third time in five years to stack draft currency and ultimately land a very good prospect. (Their previous trade-downs netted them star defender Micah Parsons and starting left tackle Tyler Guyton.) Egbuka played in the slot often at Ohio State because of his toughness and reliability over the middle -- as well as the presence of Marvin Harrison Jr. and freshman phenom Jeremiah Smith. In Dallas, though, he and CeeDee Lamb would work together inside and outside to expose opponents' weaknesses.

No. 23 overall — Green Bay Packers
Emeka Egbuka isn't going to wow you with his speed or his size, but he's just a good player, man. The Packers have taken plenty of guys based on their traits at WR and it hasn't worked out. This time, instead of drafting traits, they take the guy who can play the position.
No. 26 overall — Tennessee Titans
The Titans get their new quarterback an NFL-ready vertical threat in Egbuka. The Rams get No. 35 (second round), and a 2026 second-round pick in this trade.
No. 26 overall — Los Angeles Rams
The Rams let Kupp go but brought in Davante Adams. However, Adams is 32 and just thinking about potential player and team fits, Sean McVay getting an intelligent, talented receiver who's a great route runner would really work. Egbuka can occupy the slot next to Adams and Puka Nacua. He's a strong leader and Ohio State doesn't win the national championship without him. If you can add someone like Egbuka, that's a major plus for your locker room.
No. 23 overall — Green Bay Packers
Egbuka's game is really refined. He is a great route runner. He has good hands. He reads the defense well. And while Green Bay doesn't have much history of drafting wide receivers on Day 1 (Javon Walker was the last one in 2002), this seems like a good year to break the streak. Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs all have injury concerns, and I'm not sure any of them are true WR1s when healthy. Egbuka had 1,011 receiving yards last season, and he could make an immediate impact on this offense.
I'm also watching the Jaire Alexander situation. If he gets traded or cut, Green Bay could look at the cornerback class.

No. 26 overall — Los Angeles Rams
Emeka Egbuka is the kind of savvy route-runner who would be perfect for the Rams offense. While Les Snead has obviously been able to cobble together production from later-round picks, Egbuka would give Los Angeles an immediately formidable three-deep at the position.
No. 25 overall — Houston Texans
The Texans have been busy this offseason overhauling their offensive line and reinforcing a shaken wide receiver room. The trade of Christian Kirk seems like a good bet to place, but given the team's proactive drafting of Blake Fisher last year at tackle, going with another wide receiver feels like the more impactful play for Houston. Egbuka is reunited here with his former quarterback.
