Jalon Kilgore — 2026 NFL Mock Draft Roundup 1.0

Leading up to the 2026 NFL Draft, we will track where South Carolina Gamecocks defensive back Jalon Kilgore appears in the latest NFL mock drafts.

Jalon Kilgore NFL Mock Drafts

Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Jalon Kilgore has appeared:

EDSFootball - Kevin Hanson

No. 28 overall — Kansas City Chiefs

Kilgore had five interceptions in 2024 and has the versatility to play either safety or nickel. Not only did Justin Reid leave Kansas City for New Orleans in free agency, but the Chiefs have only one safety under contract beyond the 2025 season.

SI - Bryan Fischer

No. 15 overall — Minnesota Vikings

After his old partner Nick Emmanwori was drafted by Seattle last week, it will be up to Kilgore to take over as one of the leaders of the South Carolina secondary in 2025. He's long-armed and rangy, but isn't opposed to stepping up to make tackles in the run game, either. Kilgore led the SEC in picks last season and could be a potential option for the Vikings as they keep looking for answers on the back end.

The Athletic - Dane Brugler

No. 21 overall — Minnesota Vikings

After earning Freshman All-SEC honors in 2023, Kilgore tied for the SEC lead in interceptions (five) with Jahdae Barron and Andrew Mukuba in 2024. Another productive season will punch his ticket for next April's early rounds.
