Jihaad Campbell — NFL Mock Draft Roundup 1.0

Leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft, we will track where Alabama Crimson Tide linebacker Jihaad Campbell appears in the latest NFL mock drafts.

Jihaad Campbell NFL Mock Drafts

Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Campbell has appeared:

NFL.com — Eric Edholm

No. 18 overall — Seattle Seahawks

Mike Macdonald had a very LB-dependent system in Baltimore and could be fascinated by this versatile playmaker's toolbox of skills. Campbell, who will be 21 for his entire rookie season, has a high, high ceiling.

CBS Sports — Josh Edwards

No. 19 overall — Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The competition to be the first true off-ball linebacker taken is wide open. Jihaad Campbell has been in my personal top-50 overall for quite some time, but makes the leap into the first-round projection. He is young, has been well-coached and has the size NFL teams will be looking for at the next level.

Yahoo! — Tice/McDonald

No. 19 overall — Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This has been one of my favorite pairings on these mock drafts. General manager Jason Licht does a great job of addressing current and soon-to-be holes at positions. Lavonte David is a franchise legend, but inside linebacker is looking like one of those positions in Tampa Bay. Campbell has excellent size (6-3, 244 pounds) with real two-way potential. He can get downhill in the run game, but is fluid enough to turn and run in coverage. His experience as a blitzer will also translate nicely in Todd Bowles' defense.

NFL.com — Daniel Jeremiah

No. 19 overall — Tampa Bay Buccaneers

They rave about Campbell's leadership and versatility at Alabama. He's a unique player because of his size and length as an off-ball linebacker. With Lavonte David and K.J. Britt ticketed for free agency, the Bucs fill a need.

ESPN — Mel Kiper

No. 17 overall — Cincinnati Bengals

How contract situations play out for Tee Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase could change the calculus, but it would be nearly impossible for Cincinnati to ignore the defense. Without a doubt, that unit kept the Bengals from the playoffs this season, allowing 25.5 points per game (25th). So I'm matching them with a prospect who does a little bit of everything on that side of the ball. Campbell had 112 tackles, 5 sacks, 12 run stops and an interception this season. He's instinctive and explosive.
