Josh Conerly Jr. — NFL Mock Draft Roundup 1.0

Leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft, we will track where Oregon Ducks offensive tackle Josh Conerly Jr. appears in the latest NFL mock drafts.

Josh Conerly Jr. NFL Mock Drafts

Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Conerly has appeared:

CBS Sports — Josh Edwards

No. 26 overall — Los Angeles Rams

Los Angeles drafts Josh Conerly to step in at left tackle with Matthew Stafford returning for another season. He is still a bit rough around the edges, but was playing his best ball at season's end.

NFL.com — Bucky Brooks

No. 27 overall — Baltimore Ravens

With Ronnie Stanley's injury history and impeding free agency, the Ravens could add an athletic edge blocker to protect Lamar Jackson within the pocket.

Yahoo! — Tice/McDonald

No. 23 overall — Green Bay Packers

With center Josh Myers hitting free agency, the Packers could be doing some shuffling along their offensive line, which could have them looking to adding to their line room again early in the draft. Conerly Jr. improved rapidly as the season went along, especially with his play strength and ability to anchor as well as using his hands more consistently. Conerly Jr. has the length and athleticism to stay out at either tackle spot, and could give the Packers another option with pedigree to get their "best five" out there.

The Athletic — Baumgardner/Dochterman

No. 29 overall — Washington Commanders

The Commanders' dream season has shown us all how valuable Jayden Daniels is. And though Conerly is hardly a finished product, his ability to move and be a factor in the run game might be a perfect match here. He's also athletic enough to play inside if Washington wants him to.

EDSFootball — Kevin Hanson

No. 29 overall — Washington Commanders

While Jayden Daniels exceeded the high expectations that come with being the second overall pick, Washington was one of eight teams to allow 50-plus sacks in 2024. Conerly is a fluid mover with good balance and length, and the two-year starter at left tackle continued to get better as this season progressed.

The 33rd Team — Kyle Crabbs

No. 17 overall — Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals, simply put, can't afford to let Joe Burrow keep taking hits the way he has been. Some of that falls on Burrow himself but the team faces greater pressure to get the protection unit right with their style of play and Burrow's mentality as a passer. Josh Conerly is one of the big risers of the 2024 college season, and he'd be a potential upgrade over Orlando Brown Jr. in protection or an immediate upgrade opportunity in the short term over Alex Cappa or Cordell Volson/Cody Ford.

NFL.com — Daniel Jeremiah

No. 26 overall — Los Angeles Rams

I'm still getting used to seeing the Rams make picks in the first round after their seven-draft gap from 2017 to 2023! The team pored resources into the defensive line in the last draft. They flip the script and take care of the offensive line in the first round this year.

ESPN — Mel Kiper

No. 26 overall — Los Angeles Rams

This is the primary spot where I considered including a third quarterback. All signs point to Matthew Stafford returning to the Rams next season and still playing at a high level. But he's also going to be 37 when training camp starts. Retirement isn't out of the question, and even if he does come back, Los Angeles would be smart to start making future plans. One of the league's best draft-and-develop teams could choose to do that with one of the QB3 options: Syracuse's Kyle McCord -- who is rising after declaring for the draft -- Ole Miss' Jaxson Dart and Alabama's Jalen Milroe would all be in the mix.

But ... I'm not ready to put a third passer into Round 1, so I'm instead trying to help the Rams keep Stafford protected. Conerly has fantastic movement traits and maintains a clean pocket for his quarterback. He gave up just two sacks over three seasons in Eugene. He started two of those seasons and has been a consistent blindside wall.
