Kenneth Grant — NFL Mock Draft Roundup 1.0

Leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft, we will track where Michigan Wolverines defensive tackle Kenneth Grant appears in the latest NFL mock drafts.

Kenneth Grant NFL Mock Drafts

Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Grant has appeared:

NFL.com — Eric Edholm

No. 30 overall — Buffalo Bills

I'm sure the Bills will look hard at the cornerback options, too, but they also need reinforcements up front. Grant is a massive body who can be groomed to eventually take DaQuan Jones' spot.

CBS Sports — Josh Edwards

No. 24 overall — Minnesota Vikings

Minnesota has way more talent on offense than they do on defense. It sounds as though defensive coordinator Brian Flores will be back for another season despite taking some head coaching interviews, so the goal is to give him some talent to keep the defensive trajectory pointing upward.

NFL.com — Bucky Brooks

No. 25 overall — Houston Texans

DeMeco Ryans' desire to overwhelm opponents with a deep and talented D-line rotation makes Grant a possibility here.

Yahoo! — Tice/McDonald

No. 15 overall — Atlanta Falcons

Grant is a monster in the middle whose best football is in front of him. He has excellent size (6-3, 340 pounds) who is very good against the run, but isn't just a plugger. While the Falcons desperately need pass rushers (as has been the case for over a decade), Grant is an easy mover who can be disruptive, but just needs some work harnessing his tools.

EDSFootball — Kevin Hanson

No. 18 overall — Seattle Seahawks

Grant is a massive run-stuffing nose tackle with good movement skills for his size, and Jonathan Hankins will turn 33 and become a free agent in March.

The 33rd Team — Kyle Crabbs

No. 15 overall — Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta's future on defense appears to be in good hands with Raheem Morris. But the team faces an awkward intersection between a defensive coach instilling his scheme and a pair of interior defenders on the wrong side of 30 and approaching expiring contracts. Kenneth Grant is a mauler in the middle who can help flip the outlook on the interior. His ceiling as a pass rusher is added upside that makes him a worthy selection in this stratosphere of the draft.

NFL.com — Daniel Jeremiah

No. 18 overall — Seattle Seahawks

Mike Macdonald looks back to his old stomping grounds at Michigan to select Grant, who would be part of a great interior trio with Leonard Williams and Byron Murphy II. Keep in mind that Jarran Reed and Johnathan Hankins are headed for free agency.

ESPN — Mel Kiper

No. 32 overall — Philadelphia Eagles

GM Howie Roseman favors the trenches in Round 1, so don't be surprised if he finds another impact defensive tackle with the Eagles' first pick. Yes, it would be the third time in four years that he used a Day 1 selection at the position (Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis), and according to ESPN Research, we've seen a team do that only three times in the common draft era. But hey, if the Eagles are picking at No. 32, it means they won the Super Bowl and the strategy is working. Plus, Milton Williams is a free agent. Grant's instincts and ability to bat balls at the line of scrimmage would be welcomed in Philadelphia.

Here's a wild card to watch, though. The Eagles need edge rushers, too, and Boston College's Donovan Ezeiruaku could rise up draft boards this spring. He had 16.5 sacks this season.
