Mason Graham — NFL Mock Draft Roundup 1.0
Leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft, we will track where Michigan Wolverines interior defensive lineman Mason Graham appears in the latest NFL mock drafts.
Mason Graham NFL Mock Drafts
Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Graham has appeared:
No. 4 overall — New England Patriots
Bigger holes elsewhere, perhaps, but I suspect the Patriots address many of those in free agency and come into the draft less burdened by need. Graham feels like a foundational piece for Mike Vrabel.
No. 5 overall — Jacksonville Jaguars
There are teams with worse rosters that had better seasons than the Jaguars, but they still have needs to fill. Mason Graham fills a position of need for new head coach Liam Coen. A front with Josh Hines-Allen, Travon Walker, Arik Armstead and Graham would be formidable.
No. 5 overall — Jacksonville Jaguars
Pairing Graham with 2024 second-rounder Maason Smith would give the Jaguars an intriguing interior tandem with disruptive potential.
No. 5 overall — Jacksonville Jaguars
With QBs and Hunter going early, the Jaguars have talented players to select from. The Jaguars, and whatever general manager will be making this pick for them, go with the explosive Graham to add some interior disruption to their front. Jacksonville has holes at other places along the roster, but Graham is a talented player who played through injuries in 2025, and would turn the Jaguars' front into one of the league's better ones right away.
The Athletic — Baumgardner/Dochterman
No. 7 overall — New York Jets
Not sure we can rule out a top-five spot for Graham. He's clearly the top interior tackle in this class and the type of versatile difference-maker inside (at age 21) every team covets. He can play in any scheme, inside or out, and he will absolutely help a team's culture.
The Jets could use all of that.
The Jets could use all of that.
No. 5 overall — Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville ranked bottom three in sack percentage (5.5%), passing Y/A (7.9), passes intercepted (six), and yards per play allowed (5.9) last season. Maybe the Jaguars will choose a different Michigan Wolverine (Will Johnson) here, but their defense would benefit from the disruptive interior presence of Graham, who plays with outstanding quickness and a relentless motor.
No. 4 overall — New England Patriots
New England's identity under Mike Vrabel will feel familiar. The Patriot Way appears to live on in Foxborough and Vrabel's defensive background looms large with the team's direction this offseason. The team needs to get more physical and talented in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Mason Graham, paired with a healthy Christian Barmore, would give New England a powerhouse duo to serve as the engine of their defense under Vrabel.
No. 5 overall — Jacksonville Jaguars
Graham is one of the cleaner evaluations in the draft. He provides unbelievable quickness, balance and instincts.
No. 5 overall — Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars are probably thinking defense here -- it's just a matter of where on defense. Michigan corner Will Johnson could be the answer opposite Tyson Campbell. Georgia safety Malaki Starks could replace Andre Cisco if Jacksonville doesn't re-sign Cisco and is open to trading back. But defensive tackle is the biggest need, and Graham is one heck of a football player. He wins with his technique, using leverage to beat interior offensive linemen. Graham could slide between Travon Walker and Josh Hines-Allen and wreak havoc from the inside.
