Shavon Revel Jr. — NFL Mock Draft Roundup 1.0
Leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft, we will track where East Carolina Pirates cornerback Shavon Revel Jr. appears in the latest NFL mock drafts.
Shavon Revel Jr. NFL Mock Drafts
Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Revel has appeared:
No. 32 overall — Kansas City Chiefs
Shavon Revel Jr. may have been taken higher had it not been for his injury. He has the length Kansas City covets, and few franchises can afford to bring Revel back at his own pace the way the Chiefs can. Patrick Mahomes will keep that team's postseason hopes alive long enough for Revel to make his long-anticipated debut.
No. 32 overall — Kansas City Chiefs
Despite suffering a season-ending knee injury in September, Revel is worthy of first-round consideration. The playmaking cover corner displays the instincts, awareness and skill to thrive in Steve Spagnuolo's scheme.
No. 22 overall — Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers defense needs a blue-chip player at cornerback and there might not be a better option at this point than ECU corner Shavon Revel. Revel missed all of last season with a torn ACL, but he has the prototypical size (6-3, 193 pounds) and speed to grow into a number on cornerback.
The Athletic — Baumgardner/Dochterman
No. 31 overall — Philadelphia Eagles
The country didn't get to see Revel much, as a September knee injury cost him his season. But a year after drafting Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean, finding another rangy and athletic chess piece would be a steal for the Eagles and a great investment — a combination Philly always does well.
No. 19 overall — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa Bay is another team that simply loves long, physical corners. A healthy 2024 campaign likely sees Shavon Revel off the board by the time Tampa comes on the clock here, but a knee injury shut his season down in September. Revel has the kind of elite length and physicality that Jason Licht and company have gravitated towards forever — and it still feels like he's just scratching the surface of how good he can be.
No. 27 overall — Baltimore Ravens
Teams will be watching Revel's medicals as he recovers from a torn ACL that ended his 2024 season in September. He has tremendous size (6-3) and leans on his strong instincts to make plays. Revel -- who would be the first East Carolina first-rounder since Chris Johnson in 2008 -- had two interceptions in three games this season, including a pick-six.
Now picture Revel in the Baltimore secondary with Marlon Humphrey, Nate Wiggins and Kyle Hamilton. He could fill free agent Brandon Stephens' void and help limit the big plays that burned the Ravens this season; they allowed 58 completions for 20 or more yards, third most in the league.
