Tetairoa McMillan — NFL Mock Draft Roundup 1.0
Leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft, we will track where Arizona Wildcats wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan appears in the latest NFL mock drafts.
Tetairoa McMillan NFL Mock Drafts
Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which McMillan has appeared:
No. 9 overall — New Orleans Saints
I don't quite view the big-bodied McMillan as top-five material, even in this WR1-starved draft class, but he'd check a lot of boxes for the Saints' offense.
No. 6 overall — Las Vegas Raiders
Las Vegas is not able to land its quarterback of the future in the first round, but there is still an opportunity to address other areas of need. Tetairoa McMillan is a ball-winner who can turn some of those quarterback mistakes into wins.
No. 6 overall — Las Vegas Raiders
Upgrading the talent on the perimeter is a top priority for a Raiders offense that relied extensively on rookie tight end Brock Bowers in 2024.
No. 8 overall — Carolina Panthers
Carolina got some quality play out of Bryce Young toward the end of the season and now need to keep building out the core. McMillan can be a tremendous No. 1 receiver for Young to grow with and would immediately create quality depth with young players like Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker.
The Athletic — Baumgardner/Dochterman
No. 4 overall — New England Patriots
I'd like to write "Jeremiah Smith, WR, Ohio State" here but, incredibly, we're still two years away from Smith hearing his name called. So, the choice for New England comes down to a playmaker for Drake Maye or a defender. There's no real wrong answer — but if you have a young quarterback, it's best to provide him a receiver with whom he can grow.
No Patriots receiver caught more than three touchdown passes last season and only one averaged more than 11 yards per catch. McMillan has Mike Evans-like skills, which would be helpful for Josh McDaniels' remodeled offense under new coach Mike Vrabel.

No. 6 overall — Las Vegas Raiders
While the Raiders have an obvious need to upgrade their quarterback situation, there isn't a (QB3) prospect worth selecting sixth overall. The team hit the jackpot with Brock Bowers, but they could use another weapon like McMillan to help whomever ends up becoming their future quarterback. McMillan's body control, ball skills, size and catch radius allow him to win in ways similar to Atlanta's Drake London.
No. 7 overall — New York Jets
The Jets have secured their new direction — another defensive-minded coach is set to take the reins in Aaron Glenn. Glenn saw firsthand what a physical mentality can bring to a franchise, and with Aaron Rodgers & Davante Adams' future in flux, the Jets may be a team in offensive transition. A big, physical receiver like Tet McMillan could go a long way in helping to provide the Jets with a physical identity.
No. 8 overall — Carolina Panthers
The Panthers continue to build around Bryce Young with a big, rangy and athletic receiver in McMillen. He'll be a red-zone menace.
No. 6 overall — Las Vegas Raiders
In 2024, the Raiders had the No. 13 pick ... and somehow missed out on all of the top six quarterbacks. They are picking higher this year, but the supply is more limited. There's a really good chance they'll strike out at QB yet again. Minority owner Tom Brady is apparently involved in the process to fix the quarterback situation, and I could see Las Vegas trading up for Sanders or Ward. But finding the answer at No. 6 might not be in the cards.
So, here's the solution: add a passer through free agency (and maybe take a shot at one of the Day 2 QBs) and pair him with a playmaker with this pick. Tight end Brock Bowers had an amazing rookie season (1,194 yards), but the wide receiver room is light after the Raiders dealt Davante Adams to the Jets. McMillan has the body control to make tough, contested catches and finished 2024 with 1,319 receiving yards and eight TDs.
