Georgia Amoore - WNBA Mock Draft Roundup 1.0

Leading up to the 2025 WNBA Draft, we will track where Kentucky's Georgia Amoore appears in the latest WNBA mock drafts.

Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Georgia Amoore has appeared:

For the Win — Meghan Hall

No. 7 overall — New York Liberty

The New York Liberty moved on from Courtney Vandersloot, and they need to replace her. Georgia Amoore is a possibility if the Liberty are willing to gamble on her height and overall defense.

Amoore is undersized at 5-foot-6 and will struggle against larger guards, but one thing she has going for her is heart. Georgia has what the kids call DAWG MENTALITY. She's pretty fearless when making plays or getting a bucket.

Additionally, she's handled the load well as a facilitator at Kentucky, which could tempt New York to snag her.

CBS Sports — Jack Maloney

No. 10 overall — Chicago Sky

The Sky are one of three teams with multiple first-round picks, and they come up again here at No. 10 still needing a true point guard for the future. Amoore is a bit undersized at 5-foot-6, but she's a high-level playmaker who could learn from Courtney Vandersloot. Plus, Amoore's shooting ability (her overall 3-point % is dragged down by a high number of pull-up attempts she won't have to take in the W) would help space the floor around Cardoso and Reese.

Bleacher Report

No. 7 overall — New York Liberty

The New York Liberty parted ways with veteran point guard Courtney Vandersloot when she signed with the Chicago Sky during free agency. There is a need to target a point guard with this pick—the question is who?

Georgia Amoore is a total package when it comes to her ability to run the point and facilitate. She makes the game look easy, is elite in the pick-and-roll, and her decision making will translate exceptionally well to the next level, as she ranked second in the nation at 7.2 assists.

As a multi-level scorer and perimeter threat, she demands respect and can pick apart defenses. She is built for big moments and the big stage.

Amoore's stock has been on the rise this season with her play at Kentucky in the SEC, averaging a career-best 19 points per game. She is also a career 36 percent shooter from the perimeter.

She plays much bigger than her 5'6" frame and is fully capable of creating separation and space for herself, and operating in a high-paced, pro-style system.

ESPN — Michael Voepel

No. 11 overall — Minnesota Lynx

After leading Virginia Tech to its first Final Four, Amoore transferred and is making the most of her fifth season at Kentucky. She is coming off a career-high 43 points Sunday in a win over Oklahoma and is averaging 19.4 points and an NCAA-leading 7.5 assists. The biggest questions might be her height and defense, but she has a lot of talent and might go higher depending on how teams evaluate her.
