Leading up to the 2025 NBA Draft, we will track where Saint-Quentin (France) guard Nolan Traore appears in the latest NBA mock drafts.

Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Nolan Traore has appeared:
Round 1, Pick 17 — Atlanta Hawks (via SAC)
Based on his priors before this season, some team is likely to take a flier on Nolan Traore in the first round of the 2025 NBA Draft. But the reality is that the young French guard has simply not played very well so far this season and is likely not ready to make a positive impact in the NBA any time soon.
Round 1, Pick 14 — Atlanta Hawks (via SAC)
Traore came into this draft cycle billed as a top-five pick but has not had a good season thus far in France. He's still a high-upside swing with solid size, very good speed, and real playmaking instincts for a lead guard. Defense, shooting and ball security are the swing skills that could impact his stock in the coming months.

Round 1, Pick 13 — San Antonio Spurs (via ATL)
Context is still important when evaluating 18-year-old point guard Nolan Traore, who's struggling to make shots in Pro A. His 44.5 assist percentage would lead all current NCAA freshmen. Traore's passing and playmaking feel represent his moneymakers at the NBA level.
And he does add a valued element of creation with his ball-handling and speed.
Scouts have cooled on Traore, however, as more questions arise over his shooting and lack of explosion around the basket. He's down to 53.1 percent at the rim, 5-of-25 on floaters and 25.8 percent on threes.

Round 1, Pick 13 — Golden State Warriors
Traoré is the big faller. Seen as a potential top-five pick entering the season following a monster Hoop Summit performance leading into great games for Saint-Quentin at the end of last season, Traoré has struggled mightily this year. He's averaging 10.9 points but doing so while shooting just 35.4 percent from the field and 26.9 percent from 3. He's averaging a terrific 4.8 assists per game and has gotten the turnovers under control, but scouts are starting to wonder how exactly he'll be able to score as a lead guard. He's not a particularly strong finisher, doesn't have an awesome in-between game and hasn't really made 3s. That, on top of being in the ballpark of about 6-3 (he came in at Hoop Summit last year at 6-4 1/2 in shoes), creates some real interest in where exactly Traoré ends up on draft night. Teams are very intrigued to have some of their lead evaluators head over to Europe to get eyes on him and see what's happening.
Round 1, Pick 6 — Brooklyn Nets
It seems the Nets might not be in the tank for long -- their forthcoming wealth of salary cap space gives them latitude to upgrade -- making this year's likely lottery pick a critical opportunity to add a core young player. Traore's season in France hasn't been totally smooth -- role and minutes have been reduced of late.
But NBA teams remain intrigued by his long-term upside and for good reason. He has a strong mix of playmaking talent, speed and shot-creation ability for a lead guard. The exciting flashes have remained amid his struggles, but Traore will need to make a better case for himself to secure early-lottery positioning as a developmental talent. His defense, decision-making and overall consistency are key areas for improvement. -- Woo

Round 1, Pick 9 — Houston Rockets (via PHX)
Playing in LNB Elite and the Basketball Champions League, the 6-3 guard has a two-way skill set. Offensively, his first step is as special as any in the NBA and he operates well in ball screens with a great knack for finding the right angle and scoring. The perimeter game is a work in progress, but his willingness to defend on tape looks good. Traore's stock could continue to rise in this class, especially with his international pro background.
