2025 NBA Mock Draft

With six months to go until the 2025 NBA Draft, a lot can change — obviously! — from now until draft night.
That said, here are a few notes from my initial 2025 NBA mock draft:
- Rutgers hasn't had an NBA draft pick since 2010 (Hamady N'Diaye, 56th overall), and there is a (strong) chance that they will have two top-three picks next summer. In addition, they have had only three first-round picks — James Bailey (1979, 6th), Roy Hinson (1983, 20th) and Quincy Douby (2006, 19th), so they could have their two highest draft picks ever in 2025.
- Duke has three lottery picks including the number one pick overall. The last school to have three lottery picks in the same draft was Duke (in 2019) with Zion Williamson (1st), RJ Barrett (3rd) and Cam Reddish (10th).
- Excluding foreign-born players on college basketball teams, there are a total of six prospects in my mock currently playing basketball outside the USA.
Note: The draft order used is based on Tankathon (as of 12/28/24).
