Atlanta Falcons NFL Mock Draft Roundup 1.0
Throughout the year and leading up to the 2027 NFL Draft, we will update our Atlanta Falcons Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Atlanta Falcons from several prominent sites and draft analysts.
The following are picks from recent NFL mock drafts for the Atlanta Falcons:
6. Colin Simmons, EDGE, Texas
Simmons lacks the height and bulk some teams might prefer off the edge, but similar to this year's No. 2 overall pick in David Bailey, his quickness and agility makes him a nightmare for would-be blockers. A returning All-American who led the SEC with 12 sacks as a true sophomore, Simmons has the look of a top-10 selection next spring.
For the Win — Christian D'Andrea
9. Jordan Seaton, OT, LSU
Seaton thrived at Colorado and now gets the chance to be a major piece of Lane Kiffin's Baton Rouge debut. With wonderful lateral movement at 330 pounds, he could be a foundational piece for most NFL offenses.
10. David Stone, IDL, Oklahoma
A high-motor D-lineman with quick feet who can get off blocks early in the rep to be a consistent disruptive presence in the backfield. Stone can line up anywhere along the D-line and often finds himself around the ball vs. the run.
6. Trevor Goosby, OT, Texas
With the unexpected retirement of Kaleb McGary and Jawaan Taylor on a one-year deal, the Falcons will be searching for a long-term answer at right tackle. At 6-foot-7 and 326 pounds, Goosby is a long-limbed prospect who still has plenty of room on his frame to add mass but has all the traits to be high-level starter at either tackle spot. His above-average length makes it challenging for rushers to bypass him off the edge, as he allowed only one sack last season. He is an upper-tier athlete with plenty of lower-body quickness to gain depth on his pass sets and make blocks outside of his island.
9. Jordan Seaton, OT, LSU
Humans of Seaton's size (6-5, 307) shouldn't be able to move as he does. The Colorado transfer is in the best shape of his life and has a good chance to translate a productive 2026 season into being a top-10 pick next April.
10. Trevor Goosby, OT, Texas
Protector of Manning's blindside, the rising junior has quickly become a foundational piece of an ultra-talented Texas offense under Steve Sarkisian. Listed at 6-foot-7 and just over 310 pounds, Goosby uses his frame exceptionally well as both a pass protector and run blocker, typically winning with length at the point of attack. Still filling out, his best football is ahead of him -- which is encouraging given what he's already shown.
10. Trevor Goosby, OT, Texas
Left tackle Jake Matthews will be 35 next offseason, while right tackle Jawaan Taylor will be an unrestricted free agent. There are several options for the first tackle off the board, but Goosby stands out after looking NFL-ready in his first season as a starter. He posted PFF grades above 80.0 in both pass protection and run blocking after taking over for Kelvin Banks Jr.
