Trevor Goosby — 2027 NFL Mock Draft Roundup 1.0
Leading up to the 2027 NFL Draft, we will track where Texas Longhorns offensive tackle Trevor Goosby appears in the latest NFL mock drafts.
Trevor Goosby NFL Mock Drafts
Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Trevor Goosby has appeared:
No. 7 overall — Tennessee Titans
One of the biggest reasons I expect Manning to take the next step this season at Texas is the stellar blocking he'll receive from Goosby, another precocious talent with Pro Bowl upside. Goosby stepped in at left tackle for 2025 first-round pick Kelvin Banks a year ago and Texas had little drop-off on Manning's blindside. His blend of size and easy movement will be highly valued by NFL teams, earning him a first-round selection, as well.
For the Win — Christian D'Andrea
No. 27 overall — San Francisco 49ers
At 6-foot-7 and possessing smooth, natural movements, Goosby has all the skills to translate into clean pockets from the blindside.
No. 6 overall — Las Vegas Raiders
Goosby, who would've likely been a first-rounder had he declared for the '26 draft, has a huge frame and high-end athletic traits that allow him to anchor effectively against power, though he remains a raw prospect who can struggle with quicker pass rushers.
No. 6 overall — Atlanta Falcons
With the unexpected retirement of Kaleb McGary and Jawaan Taylor on a one-year deal, the Falcons will be searching for a long-term answer at right tackle. At 6-foot-7 and 326 pounds, Goosby is a long-limbed prospect who still has plenty of room on his frame to add mass but has all the traits to be high-level starter at either tackle spot. His above-average length makes it challenging for rushers to bypass him off the edge, as he allowed only one sack last season. He is an upper-tier athlete with plenty of lower-body quickness to gain depth on his pass sets and make blocks outside of his island.
No. 12 overall — Minnesota Vikings
The fourth Longhorn in the top 12, Goosby got better throughout the 2025 season. If he can continue to build off that production, he will be an easy first-round projection.
No. 10 overall — Atlanta Falcons
Protector of Manning's blindside, the rising junior has quickly become a foundational piece of an ultra-talented Texas offense under Steve Sarkisian. Listed at 6-foot-7 and just over 310 pounds, Goosby uses his frame exceptionally well as both a pass protector and run blocker, typically winning with length at the point of attack. Still filling out, his best football is ahead of him -- which is encouraging given what he's already shown.
No. 10 overall — Atlanta Falcons
Left tackle Jake Matthews will be 35 next offseason, while right tackle Jawaan Taylor will be an unrestricted free agent. There are several options for the first tackle off the board, but Goosby stands out after looking NFL-ready in his first season as a starter. He posted PFF grades above 80.0 in both pass protection and run blocking after taking over for Kelvin Banks Jr.
