Miami Dolphins NFL Mock Draft Roundup 1.0
Throughout the year and leading up to the 2026 NFL Draft, we will update our Miami Dolphins Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Miami Dolphins from several prominent sites and draft analysts.
The following are picks from recent NFL mock drafts for the Miami Dolphins:
10. Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State
Downs can definitely make the case to be the first non-quarterback selected in 2026, but we've also seen elite safeties (like Downs) go later than expected based on perceived positional value. (Kyle Hamilton, for example, was my second-ranked prospect in 2022 and the 14th overall pick). Downs is a complete defensive back with outstanding instincts who excels in coverage, as a blitzer and against the run. Given the team's defensive backfield turnover this offseason, a top-three talent at this spot would be a no-brainer pick for Chris Grier.
13. Kadyn Proctor, OT, Alabama
Terron Armstead announced his retirement this offseason, but the Dolphins will get an extended look at last year's second-round selection, Patrick Paul. If that does not go as planned, then the franchise could go in a different direction as part of the 2026 draft. Proctor is a massive human being who probably needs to play a little lighter to maximize his foot quickness and flexibility.
14. Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee
With Jalen Ramsey on the trade block, the Dolphins need young defensive backs. McCoy makes plenty of sense here as an active, physical corner. He exhibits great awareness and has a quick read on routes run in his coverage. He had four interceptions and eight pass breakups last season, so the ball skills are there, too. McCoy could be CB1 next year if his game continues to ascend.
15. Spencer Fano, OT, Utah
The Phins were favorites to select an offensive tackle this year, but pivoted to Kenneth Grant before selecting Arizona G Jonah Savaiinaea in Round 2. Fano (6-5, 302 pounds) has light feet and plays heavier than his 302 pounds suggest having allowed just one sack and two hits in 424 pass block reps last year.
14. Avieon Terrell, CB, Clemson
The Dolphins have been retooling their secondary this offseason, and that could further be the case if they opt to move Jalen Ramsey. Terrell, the younger brother of Falcons defensive back A.J. Terrell, isn't quite the ideal size for corners, but he plays like a bulldog. He attacks the ball when it's in the air and is a surprisingly nosy defender when it comes to playing the run (three forced fumbles last year).
13. Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State
The 2027 draft class should include an epic group of wide receivers, but the 2026 class of pass catchers is a tad underwhelming at this point in the process. Of course, the Buckeyes have another first-round receiver in the pipeline, though — Tate could be Ohio State's sixth first-round receiver in the last five years.
13. Dani Dennis-Sutton, EDGE, Penn State
When healthy, the Dolphins boast two of the better edge rushers in the league in Jaelan Phillips and Bradley Chubb. But with the former entering the final year of his rookie contract, Miami will at the very least consider other options.

11. Austin Barber, OT, Florida
Patrick Paul is being entrusted to fill the shoes of Terron Armstead at left tackle, but proper protection for Tua Tagovailoa is paramount. If the 2023 second-round pick stumbles, the Dolphins could set their sights on Barber, an ascendant blocker and smooth mover at 6-6 and 314 pounds.
