San Francisco 49ers NFL Mock Draft Roundup 1.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2026 NFL Draft, we will update our San Francisco 49ers Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the San Francisco 49ers from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

The following are picks from recent NFL mock drafts for the San Francisco 49ers:

EDSFootball - Kevin Hanson

23. Caleb Lomu, OT, Utah

Left tackle Trent Williams is entering his age-37 season. The 49ers signed D.J. Humphries, who turns 32 in December, to a one-year contract after the draft to be their swing tackle in 2025. In addition, right tackle Colton McKivitz is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent in 2026. In other words, the 49ers could target Brock Purdy's long-term blind side protector in the 2026 draft with the athletic Lomu.

CBS Sports - Josh Edwards

23. Caleb Lomu, OT, Utah

The other Utah offensive tackle comes off the board. Lomu looks the part of a big-time NFL left tackle. The 2026 NFL Draft would be his first year of eligibility, so there is physical maturation that is still taking place. There are glimpses of some advanced technical work and Lomu could be a part of a strong offensive tackle class.

ESPN - Jordan Reid

27. Avieon Terrell, CB, Clemson

At 5-11 and 180 pounds, Terrell is smaller than older brother A.J., who plays corner for the Falcons. But Avieon Terrell is a pest for opposing receivers, as his 11 pass breakups tied for the 15th most in the FBS last season. The loaded Clemson defensive front should bring a lot of pressure this season, which could lead to more interceptions for Terrell (two). The 49ers still need their Charvarius Ward replacement.

NBC Sports - Eric Froton

28. Makai Lemon, WR, USC

Deebo Samuel is now a Commander, while Brandon Aiyuk will be 28 years old next year and San Francisco has shown it is willing to pivot in a moment's notice when it comes to its wide receivers. Lemon would give the 49ers a lethal slot receiver who can stretch the field and do the dirty work across the middle.

SI - Bryan Fischer

27. Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State

If DC Robert Saleh is looking for a new chess piece to help elevate the 49ers defense, Styles could fit the bill. A former safety, he has the bulk to be an incredible asset near the line of scrimmage while becoming a real weapon when it comes to covering some of the elite tight ends.

The Athletic - Dane Brugler

23. Kage Casey, OT, Boise State

Boise State has consistently produced NFL talent, but it's never had first-round picks in back-to-back years. There is a chance that Casey, who helped open run lanes for 2025 top-six pick Ashton Jeanty, could change that.

Fox Sports - Rob Rang

27. Bud Clark, S, TCU

The 49ers seemingly struck gold in the fifth round of the 2024 draft with Malik Mustafa, but he underwent surgery in the offseason and his readiness for the 2025 season is now in question. Regardless of Mustafa's availability, GM John Lynch — a Hall of Fame safety himself, of course — might be tempted by Clark's greater length, agility and ball skills. He's led a TCU squad well known for producing quality defensive backs in interceptions each of the past three seasons while tallying 11 overall.

USA Today - Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz

13. Isaiah World, OT, Oregon

Replacing Trent Williams is a nearly impossible proposition, not only for San Francisco but also the player tasked with taking over for the 11-time Pro Bowl selection. But a 49ers team in transition has to take on the task, and the 6-8, 303-pound World — who transferred from Nevada this offseason — has the rare blend of size, strength and athleticism that's worth gambling on.
