San Francisco 49ers NFL Mock Draft Roundup 4.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2026 NFL Draft, we will update our San Francisco 49ers Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the San Francisco 49ers from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

The following are picks from recent NFL mock drafts for the San Francisco 49ers:

Fox Sports — Ben Arthur

27. Caleb Lomu, OT, Utah

The Niners remain committed to perennial Pro Bowl left tackle Trent Williams in the short term, but he turns 38 in July. San Francisco should be eyeing potential successors like Lomu, a two-year starting left tackle at Utah.

ESPN — Field Yates

27. Keldric Faulk, EDGE, Auburn

The Niners need to work on their edge group, though a big boost will come from the returns of Nick Bosa and Mykel Williams from injury. Faulk is an intriguing prospect whose tape was better in 2024 than 2025 (7.0 sacks compared with 2.0, respectively). But his skill set is too good to ignore: He's 6-6, 276 pounds with positional versatility and stout run defense. A defensive line coach will see the potential to develop Faulk into a much more consistent rusher, as he won't turn 21 until September.

58. Germie Bernard, WR, Alabama

The 49ers onboarded a pair of veteran wideouts this offseason in Mike Evans and Christian Kirk, but the room definitely needs an infusion of youth. Bernard is a buttery smooth route runner with excellent instincts against all types of coverage. He's steady after the catch and would have a chance to thrive under coach Kyle Shanahan.

CBS Sports — Pete Prisco

27. Monroe Freeling, OT, Georgia

Trent Williams is getting up in the years and wants a new contract. It's time to start looking for a replacement.

The Athletic — NFL Writers

27. Akheem Mesidor, EDGE, Miami (FL)

The 49ers like taking wide receivers and defensive linemen in the first round and — would you look at that! — those are among their biggest needs this year. We have the team going with Akheem Mesidor, a powerfully built edge rusher who had 12.5 sacks and 17 .5 tackles for loss last season and made his biggest marks against top-end talent in the playoffs. Indiana receiver Omar Cooper Jr. was oh-so-tempting at this spot, and it's entirely possible Kyle Shanahan would be unable to resist snagging him here (the 49ers will host Cooper on a visit next month). The rationale, however, is that there will be more enticing wideouts — Germie Bernard? Ted Hurst? Elijah Sarratt? — than edge rushers available when San Francisco's on the clock again late in Round 2. — Matt Barrows

Yahoo! Sports — McDonald/Tice

27. Max Iheanachor, OT, Arizona State

The 49ers need a big infusion of young talent along the offensive line and can do that here with Iheanachor. He is a redshirt senior, but started playing football only a few years ago in JUCO. Never bet against someone who started playing football in JUCO and didn't quit immediately.

USA Today — Nate Davis

27. Avieon Terrell, CB, Clemson

San Francisco's corners certainly weren't helped by the rash of injuries this defense suffered in 2025. Doesn't mean the Niners couldn't use some significant help in pass coverage, which Terrell is prepared to provide — whether out wide or in the slot, where he played more often in 2025 for the Tigers.

NFL.com — Daniel Jeremiah

27. Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon

This is the second time I've mocked Sadiq to the 49ers this year. He would be an amazing new toy for Kyle Shanahan.

ESPN — Mel Kiper

27. Blake Miller, OT, Clemson

You probably see an offensive tackle to San Francisco and think "Trent Williams heir apparent." But Miller actually played 97% of his college snaps on the right side. Perhaps he'd transition to left tackle if the Niners can't figure out Williams' contract situation, but I like Miller as an upgrade over Colton McKivitz on the right side regardless of what happens there. The 6-7, 317-pound Miller would bring consistency and reliability to this O-line. (San Francisco also signed Vederian Lowe as some insurance at left tackle.)

Fox Sports — Joel Klatt

27. Caleb Lomu, OT, Utah

The 49ers need to figure out what they're doing along the offensive line post-Trent Williams, as reports emerged this past week that he could get traded. Lomu's a really good player, and these Utah offensive linemen are ready to play at the next level.
