Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL Mock Draft Roundup 1.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2026 NFL Draft, we will update our Tampa Bay Buccaneers Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

The following are picks from recent NFL mock drafts for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers:

EDSFootball - Kevin Hanson

20. Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami (FL)

It's definitely possible that Mauigoa will be long gone by this point of the draft. Luke Goedeke is scheduled to become a free agent after the 2025 season. The former five-star recruit has started all 26 games the past two seasons, and Miami's right tackle moves well for a player his size (6'6", 340 pounds).

CBS Sports - Josh Edwards

19. R Mason Thomas, EDGE, Oklahoma

Thomas is not bringing prototypical size to the position, but there will not be many prospects more entertaining. He is in constant motion from the time he takes the field. He produced nine sacks and one forced fumble last season.

ESPN - Jordan Reid

20. CJ Allen, LB, Georgia

Many thought the Bucs would find Lavonte David's successor early in the 2025 draft, but that position is still open. Allen is a patient second-level defender who quarterbacked one of the country's best defenses last season. He's an aggressive hitter who can fill gaps in a hurry coming downhill against the run. But I'd like to see better awareness in pass coverage.

NBC Sports - Eric Froton

22. Anthony Hill Jr., LB, Texas

A lynchpin of Texas' stout run defense that ranked seventh in EPA/rush last year, Hill Jr. (6-3, 235 pounds) recorded 7.5 sacks with a 19% pressure rate and 15.0 TFLs. He would immediately give Tampa Bay a productive, rangy middle linebacker to bolster the interior of its defense.

SI - Bryan Fischer

19. Anthony Hill Jr., LB, Texas

After arriving as a five-star true freshman, Hill has been a monster in the middle of the Longhorns defense, making plays all over the field. He moves incredibly well for a linebacker of his size and seems tailor-made for the modern NFL game with his ability to shut down rushing lanes as easily as he drops into coverage.

The Athletic - Dane Brugler

19. LT Overton, EDGE, Alabama

Although his impact appeared to tail off last season, Overton put dominant stretches together on his 2024 tape (see South Carolina). He has impressive movement skills for 285 pounds and should lead the Tide in pressures this season.

Fox Sports - Rob Rang

19. Keldric Faulk, EDGE, Auburn

Long, lean and slippery off the edge, Faulk's frame will generate comparisons to longtime NFL standouts Jason Taylor and Montez Sweat. The former four-star recruit made a major jump a year ago as a pass-rusher, going from one sack in 2023 to leading the Tigers with seven. His length and lateral agility could make him quite the weapon, though he needs to get stronger.

USA Today - Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz

20. Tyreak Sapp, EDGE, Florida

Haason Reddick is only signed to a one-year deal, so Tampa Bay could once again be retooling its pass rush next spring. After notching a team-leading seven sacks and 13 tackles for loss last season, the 6-3, 273-pound Sapp figures to be the type of player who could help Todd Bowles maintain a consistent level of pressure against opposing passers.
