Dante Moore — 2027 NFL Mock Draft Roundup 1.0

Leading up to the 2027 NFL Draft, we will track where Oregon Ducks quarterback Dante Moore appears in the latest NFL mock drafts.

Dante Moore NFL Mock Drafts

Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Dante Moore has appeared:

Fox Sports — Rob Rang

No. 2 overall — Arizona Cardinals

Moore could have entered the 2026 draft and beaten out new Rams QB Ty Simpson to be the second quarterback selected, but I love that he returned to hone his game. He lacks ideal size (6-foot-3, 206 pounds) but is a gifted natural passer with an effortless delivery and excellent accuracy to all levels of the field.

For the Win — Christian D'Andrea

No. 1 overall — Miami Dolphins

Moore or Arch Manning? Moore was the better quarterback in 2025, which gives him the edge while acknowledging, right now, there's no wrong answer.

CBS Sports — Ryan Wilson

No. 1 overall — Miami Dolphins

Moore would have been the No. 2 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft had he not decided to return to Oregon. He plays with high-end pocket composure, handles pressure well -- and once the play breaks down, is elite out of structure. He showed up in big moments throughout the '25 season (until they ran into the Hoosiers in the CFP) and he's my QB1 because he outplayed Arch Manning -- and every other QB -- in the '26 class.

ESPN — Jordan Reid

No. 3 overall — New York Jets

The Jets loaded up on skill position players in last week's draft, getting tight end Kenyon Sadiq and wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. in Round 1. But 2027 is a great time to draft a young quarterback. Despite being mocked as a high first-round pick in early 2026 projections, Moore decided to return to school and expand on his 20 career starts. He was one of the best passers in the country last season, finishing with 3,565 passing yards, 30 touchdown passes and 10 interceptions. He's a smooth operator but must do a better job of withstanding pressure, as his accuracy tends to wane when defenses hit him early.

The Athletic — Dane Brugler

No. 3 overall — Cleveland Browns

The Browns did an excellent job addressing offensive needs in the 2026 NFL Draft, setting up a scenario for them to grab a quarterback early next April and drop him into a ready-to-go offense. Assuming he continues to ascend, Moore will be in the top-three mix in 2027.

CBS Sports — Cooper Petagna

No. 2 overall — Arizona Cardinals

After weighing a potential jump to the 2026 NFL Draft following his first full season as a starter in Eugene, Moore opted to return to Oregon, aiming to help Dan Lanning and the Ducks pursue a national title. Widely regarded as one of the most natural passers in the class, his decision to return should only strengthen his case to be in the conversation for the No. 1 overall pick.

PFF — Daire Carragher

No. 3 overall — New York Jets

Moore would reunite with tight end Kenyon Sadiq in the Jets offense. He led the FBS in big-time throws (30) last season, while Sadiq recorded 30 first-down receptions. While incredibly gifted, Moore will need to develop his often erratic decision-making to warrant a top-five selection — he threw 10 interceptions last year, some stemming from nine turnover-worthy plays over his final seven outings.
