Matthew Stafford: The duo of Puka Nacua and Davante Adams arguably form the most talented wide receiver duo in the league west of Cincinnati (Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins). That said, Stafford has averaged only 12.9, 16.9, and 13.9 fantasy points per game over the past three seasons, respectively. Stafford's back issues shouldn't keep him from starting in Week 1, but fantasy managers who roster Nacua and/or Adams will collectively hold their breathes following every quarterback hit.

RUNNING BACKS

Kyren Williams: The Rams used a third-round pick last year on Blake Corum, but Williams continued to dominate touches (21.9 per game). In fact, his 350 touches accounted for 78.8% of the team's running back touches in 2024. As long as Williams stays healthy, you should still expect him to command massive workloads with Corum (and fourth-round rookie Jarquez Hunter) handling a modest amount of touches to occasionally spell him.

Blake Corum: Sean McVay favors featuring one primary running back, but Corum's modest rookie workload fell well short of the low end of the range I had expected. Corum averaged 4.1 touches per game in 2024. While it would be reasonable to expect the gap between Williams (21.9) and Corum (4.1) to shrink (at least some), Corum's primary fantasy value is as Williams' handcuff, but he'll have to fend off rookie Jarquez Hunter for the RB2 role.

Puka Nacua: Injuries limited Nacua to only 11 games, but he set per-game career highs in receptions (7.2) and yards (90.0) as well as catch rate (74.5%). Over his final eight games, Nacua had 67/838/3 on 89 targets and only Cincinnati Bengals teammates Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins scored more fantasy points per game over that stretch. Among wide receivers with 35-plus targets, he has finished fourth (2.75) and first (3.56) in PFF's yards per route run metric in 2023 and 2024, respectively. Los Angeles replacing Cooper Kupp with Davante Adams is a positive for quarterback Matthew Stafford, but the projected target gap between Nacua and Adams should be less than it would have been with Kupp.

Davante Adams: Adams, who was traded midseason from the Raiders to the Jets, still managed to extend his streak of 1,000-yard, eight-TD seasons to five. Even though he turns 33 on Christmas Eve and won't dominate targets the way he had at previous stops, he should have (or come close to having) another 1,000/8 season.
