Baker Mayfield: Mayfield set career highs in passing yards (4,500) and touchdowns (41), although he also led the NFL in interceptions (16). That said, he finished as fantasy's QB4 in 2024 after finishing as the QB10 in his first season with the Bucs. Only Lamar Jackson (16) had more QB1 finishes last season than Mayfield (13). While he'll have his third offensive coordinator in as many seasons, new OC Josh Grizzard was the passing game coordinator for Liam Coen, who's now Jacksonville's head coach. First-round pick Emeka Egbuka should make a significant and immediate impact, but regression and injuries/rehabs for left tackle Tristan Wirfs and wide receivers Chris Godwin and Jalen McMillan to start the season could lead to a disappointing season compared to his fantasy ADP.

Bucky Irving: If you rostered Irving in 2024, you realize how good he was, especially over the second half of the season. Irving was the RB7 from Week 10 on when he averaged 15.5/87.9 rushing, 3/27.3 receiving and scored five total touchdowns.

Rachaad White: The Buccaneers love Bucky Irving, and he's the clear RB1 entering 2025. White has contingent upside if Irving were to miss time, but Sean Tucker's role should also expand this season.

Mike Evans: Evans, who will turn 32 in August, extended his remarkable streak of 1,000-yard seasons to 11 (albeit just barely: 1,004 yards) in 2024. While he missed three games last season, Evans remains one of the most dominant red-zone weapons in the league — 24 receiving touchdowns over the past two seasons and double-digit scores in four of the past five years.

Emeka Egbuka: Egbuka's landing spot (behind Mike Evans and Chris Godwin) after the 2025 NFL Draft appeared to be better for his dynasty outlook than redraft. Since then, however, Egbuka has continued to impress during offseason workouts — for example, Baker Mayfield called him the "real deal" on the New Heights podcast. Godwin's and Jalen McMillan's lack of availability to begin the season should allow Egbuka to hit the ground running.

Chris Godwin: Godwin was off to a great start before an ankle dislocation cut his season short in October. Godwin's 80.6% catch rate and 7.1 receptions per game were career highs, and his 82.3 yards per game were the second-best of his career. And he was scoring touchdowns in bunches — five in seven games compared to 10 over the previous three seasons (46 games). The team used their first-round pick on Emeka Egbuka, who has generated plenty of positive buzz and should allow the Bucs to bring Godwin along slowly. How slowly? It's a positive that the team has activated him off the Physically Unable to Perform list, but he's still "unlikely to play until October."

Jalen McMillan: McMillan became a reliable option in the passing attack down the stretch — 24/316/7 on 31 targets over the final five regular-season games (WR7, WR9 in PPG). It's unclear when he'll return from his "severely sprained neck," but he's not expected to return before Tampa's Week 9 bye.

TIGHT ENDS

Cade Otton: Otton averaged 4.2 receptions, 42.9 yards on 6.2 targets per game, all of which were career highs by far. Matching his per-game production may be difficult when all of the team's wide receivers are healthy (at the end of the season). Perhaps he'll get off to a strong start given the injuries to Chris Godwin and Jalen McMillan, but Otton "has another leg injury on top of a hamstring he's been dealing with."
