Rasheer Fleming NBA Mock Drafts

Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Rasheer Fleming has appeared:

CBS Sports — Cameron Salerno

Round 1, Pick 11 — Portland Trail Blazers

Portland is a team in the West that can potentially take a jump during the 2025-26 campaign. Fleming has everything NBA decision-makers are looking for at the next level. Fleming is a plus shooter (39% on 4.5 attempts), possesses a 7-foot-5 wingspan and has defensive upside that could translate to the next level. His testing numbers at the NBA Combine helped his lottery case.

The Rookie Wire — Cody Taylor

Round 1, Pick 28 — Boston Celtics

Fleming was named to the All-Atlantic 10 first team after averaging 14.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, 1.4 steals and 1.3 assists on 39% shooting from 3-point range. He ranked 19th in the country in defensive rebounds (227) and second in the conference in double-doubles (9). Fleming brings immense physicality to the court at 232 pounds, while providing consistent floor spacing. He boasts a 7-foot, 4 1/4-inch wingspan that will enable him to defend and protect the rim at the next level. We have him listed a bit lower than most, but that isn't a reflection of his ability or potential: He could go higher.

The Athletic — Sam Vecenie

Round 1, Pick 27 — Brooklyn Nets (via HOU)

Fleming very much looks the part at 6-9 with a 7-4 wingspan. He's also a very real athlete with leaping ability as well as a chiseled frame that allows him to play with force and strength on both ends. He averaged 15 points, eight rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.5 blocks per game, then on top of it drilled 39 percent from 3. The idea here is a 3-and-D forward who can potentially be switchable and guard across the positional spectrum while also drilling 3s. But he doesn't yet process things happening around him on the court all that quickly and needs to keep getting experience. But any team that values looking the part as well as the potential to shoot it will definitely have interest in Fleming.

Bleacher Report — Jonathan Wasserman

Round 1, Pick 26 — Brooklyn Nets (via NYK)

Pro Comparison: Taylor Hendricks

A rough postseason for Rasheer Fleming was disappointing, though it won't blind NBA teams from his shooting development and the archetype it's helped create.

He was the only player in the country with at least 60 threes and 40 dunks (one of eight players ever), and there should be a clear stretch-4 role at the next level for a 6'9", 240-pound forward who can catch-and-shoot, finish at a high level and disrupt defensively.

ESPN — Givony/Woo

Round 1, Pick 27 — Brooklyn Nets (via HOU)

Scouting report: Fleming broke out as a junior by turning in an efficient, productive season, succeeding by dint of playing hard, scoring opportunistically and providing length and resistance defensively.

He is limited with the ball in his hands and won't be called upon to create offense, but there's value in his skill set that might make him an effective glue guy in the right context. His awareness and consistency need to improve over time, but he has yet to turn 21 and took a nice step forward this season, one that should earn him guaranteed money in the middle of the draft. -- Woo

NBA intel and fit: Expect Brooklyn to look at trade opportunities, particularly with its pair of picks in the 20s, to try to extract value out of its league-high four first-round selections. -- Woo

SB Nation — Ricky O'Donnell

Round 1, Pick 29 — Phoenix Suns

Fleming is a massive forward who caught the NBA's eye during his junior season thanks to his leap in perimeter skill. At 6'9+, 233 pounds with a 7'5 wingspan, Fleming has the long-and-strong frame evaluators dream about for a forward. He knocked down 39 percent of his threes on 159 attempts this season, and also finished 70 percent of his shots at the rim. Fleming just can't do much with the ball in his hands offensively other than catch-and-shoot, and he finished the season with more 10 more turnovers than assists. His defensive playmaking markers are solid, but going from an older player in the A-10 to an NBA rookie is a big jump. If he can keep knocking down spot-ups and his defense holds up, he could have a long pro career.

The Ringer — J. Kyle Mann

Round 1, Pick 23 — Indiana Pacers

Fleming's sky-high steal and block percentages and low-waste offensive skills have made him one of the analytics darlings of this class. Tidy shot charts like Fleming's can be engineered by the right NBA system, but his defensive skills are hard to come by. The 6-foot-9 big can float between guarding bigger, stronger forwards and perimeter players who want to get it going off the dribble. It's his primary selling point and a nice fit for the Pacers, who could use some depth in that area.

CBS Sports — Kyle Boone

Round 1, Pick 22 — Atlanta Hawks (via LAL)

Fleming is a glove-in-hand fit for any team with its lead playmaker established. He's a rangy wing who is among the best spot-up shooters in this class and is coming off a big senior season in which he made 37.7% from 3-point range as the alpha at St. Joseph's.

Yahoo! Sports — Kevin O'Connor

Round 1, Pick 30 — Los Angeles Clippers (via OKC)

Assuming Kawhi Leonard and James Harden are both back in Los Angeles, the front office will need to look for upgrades around the edges. Ben Simmons did a solid job as a backup center, but his scoring allergy was a severe limitation. This is why Fleming would have such significant appeal since he drains spot-up jumpers and brings energy on defense, swatting shots and snagging boards. Even though he has some real warts as a ball-handler, the Clippers need his other positive qualities much more off the bench.
