Cam Coleman — 2027 NFL Mock Draft Roundup 1.0
Leading up to the 2027 NFL Draft, we will track where Texas Longhorns wide receiver Cam Coleman appears in the latest NFL mock drafts.
Cam Coleman NFL Mock Drafts
Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Cam Coleman has appeared:
No. 24 overall — Los Angeles Chargers
Texas went to the portal to find Arch Manning a No. 1 receiver and I expect Coleman to become a household name this season as a result. He starred at Auburn the past two seasons, leading the Tigers with 708 receiving yards and five touchdowns in 2025. Don't be surprised if those numbers are doubled this year at Texas, with Coleman showing an ideal blend of size, acceleration, body control and hand-eye coordination.
For the Win — Christian D'Andrea
No. 10 overall — New York Giants
A 6-foot-3 wideout who consistently wins downfield would give Jaxson Dart another bailout option and big play machine for an ascending (?) offense.
No. 13 overall — Washington Commanders
Coleman is a physically imposing wideout who pairs elite contact balance with the suddenness to make defenders miss in the open field. He runs routes with the nuance of a much smaller receiver and possesses the play strength to consistently punish DBs after the catch.
No. 5 overall — Las Vegas Raiders
There haven't been two receivers drafted in the top five since 2003 (Charles Rogers and Andre Johnson), but that could happen in 2027 with Coleman and Smith. Coleman excelled in two seasons at Auburn despite inconsistent QB play, finishing last season with 56 catches for 708 receiving yards and five touchdowns. Transferring to Texas and pairing up with Manning could unlock even more production, as he's a sure-handed target with good hands. That would be ideal for the Raiders, who need a No. 1 wide receiver to help the development of this year's top pick, Fernando Mendoza.
No. 6 overall — Las Vegas Raiders
As special as Smith is as a prospect, Coleman isn't too far behind. His inconsistent tape the last two seasons was more about the Auburn offense than anything else, and he should thrive with an upgrade at quarterback after joining the Longhorns.
No. 6 overall — Las Vegas Raiders
Following two seasons of high-level flashes paired with uneven play, the former five-star transferred from Auburn to Texas this offseason, joining forces with Manning in Austin. At 6-foot-3, Coleman brings elite field-stretching ability and the capacity to play above the rim, making his appeal easy to understand.
No. 6 overall — Las Vegas Raiders
Wide receiver is the most logical position for the Raiders to address early next year as they look to give Fernando Mendoza a true WR1. No wide receiver has emerged as a clear second option behind Jeremiah Smith, but Cam Coleman is a safe bet to do so next year. The fifth overall player in the 2024 recruiting class has transferred from Auburn to become Arch Manning's top target.
