Chicago Bulls 2025 NBA Mock Draft Roundup 1.0

Leading up to the 2025 NBA Draft, our Chicago Bulls Mock Draft Roundup will highlight recent picks for the Chicago Bulls from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

The following are picks in recent mock drafts for the Bulls:

For the Win — Bryan Kalbrosky

9. Tre Johnson, Texas

Texas freshman Tre Johnson is a natural scorer whose passing is better than his assist stats might suggest. He is difficult to stop in the open-court and leads all high-major freshmen in 3-pointers made in transition so far this season, per CBB Analytics.

CBS Sports — Adam Finkelstein

9. Liam McNeeley, Connecticut

This too may be higher than most have McNeeley at this point, but he's again proven to be more than just a shooter this year, as he can make decisions and facilitate some within the flow of offense. He's out now with an ankle injury but needs to prove he's a solid enough defender that he won't be targeted at the next level.

Bleacher Report — Jonathan Wasserman

9. Tre Johnson, Texas

NBA teams should all buy Tre Johnson's shotmaking skill and floater touch for perimeter scoring.

He just had another big offensive game with 26 points against Tennessee. The self-creation footwork, shooting versatility and positional tools/mechanics make Johnson's scoring seem translatable.

He's becoming somewhat one-dimensional, as a lack of rim pressure and playmaking limit his versatility and reduce his margin for error when it comes to shooting. But between Johnson's track record and production in different settings—Link Academy, EYBL, high school All-Star games, FIBA, Texas—plus an eye test that shows advanced skill and fluidity, the 18-year-old looks like a surefire pro scoring weapon.

Fox Sports — John Fanta

10. Liam McNeeley, Connecticut

The 6-7 Connecticut wing has a feel for the game that is beyond his years and possesses the skills to be a microwave shot-maker in the NBA. McNeeley's work ethic is through the roof, fitting the UConn culture that has produced six selections in the last two drafts. Averaging 14 points, six rebounds and three assists while shooting 43% from the floor and 38% from 3-point range, he's a three-level scorer who uses his physical frame to create opportunities. McNeeley is stout on the defensive end of the floor and does the little things. He will be a quality role player for any organization. McNeeley is dealing with an ankle injury that will sideline him until at least the end of January.
