Chicago Bulls 2025 NBA Mock Draft Roundup 2.0

Leading up to the 2025 NBA Draft, our Chicago Bulls Mock Draft Roundup will highlight recent picks for the Chicago Bulls from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

The following are picks in recent mock drafts for the Chicago Bulls:

CBS Sports — Cameron Salerno

12. Derik Queen, Maryland

Queen has a unique skill set for the center position. He is a skilled passer and a fluid scorer inside. He will need to improve the jumper at the next level, but the Maryland star would be a fun fit in Chicago and a potential replacement for Nikola Vučević.

The Rookie Wire — Cody Taylor

12. Carter Bryant, Arizona

Bryant played in a sixth man role for much of the season but had a productive year, shooting 37.1% from 3-point range. He can do a little bit of everything on the court and emerged as a versatile defender last season with a near 7-foot wingspan. He is said to be testing the predraft process, so team interviews and workouts will be crucial for him as he weighs his options for next season.

The Athletic — Sam Vecenie

12. Carter Bryant, Arizona

Bryant didn't start many games this year at Arizona, but he was a monster defensive player when he was on the court, showcasing serious playmaking chops as well as great on-ball play. He also knocks down a solid percentage of his 3s. Bryant is the guy in this class who seems to have a ton of juice when you talk to front offices, and it wouldn't surprise me to see him land in the top 10. I think I'd park his range in the No. 7 to No. 16 area.

The Bulls desperately need to find answers on the defensive end, especially if they're going to go all-in on the Josh Giddey and Coby White backcourt this summer when Giddey hits restricted free agency. Bryant would give Giddey a potential transition running mate and would give them a real perimeter defender to attack opposing ballhandlers and wings with.

Bleacher Report — Jonathan Wasserman

12. Collin Murray-Boyles, South Carolina

Pro Comparisons: Julius Randle, Anthony Mason

Collin Murray-Boyles will give a team a physical presence who'll put pressure on defenses with his inside scoring strength/instincts and face-up power/agility.

The passing skills and defensive foot speed create some newer avenues to upside.

Teams will be most interested in Murray-Boyles measurements and jumper during predraft, given his unique frame for a power forward who hasn't shown much shooting.

Team Fit: Murray-Boyles would give Chicago's frontcourt a different dimension of offense with his unconventional face-up game and power around the basket.

ESPN — Givony/Woo

12. Egor Demin, BYU

Scouting report: Demin is a polarizing prospect, more theoretical in nature than some would hope in terms of the productivity, consistency and bankable skills he can hang his hat on early in his NBA career. He's also exceptionally talented, a 6-foot-9 point guard who can make every pick-and-roll read and pass, often in highlight-reel fashion.

The evolution of his shooting will be a major swing skill for his development, but he made promising gains in a few different areas as the season moved on and clearly has significant upside to grow into at 19 years old. -- Givony

NBA intel and fit: The Bulls continued to happily tread water this season, losing in the opening round of the play-in tournament after a 39-43 campaign a decade removed from their last playoff series win. Chicago will likely need to shake up its roster in a more serious way to have a viable chance of avoiding the play-in tournament in the near future, but the team has limited options for internal improvement, making this pick an important tool for the front office to use. -- Givony

SB Nation — Ricky O'Donnell

12. Noa Essengue, Ratiopharm Ulm (Germany)

Essengue is a huge forward who has already proven he can produce in a pro league despite being the second youngest player in this draft class. The French forward doesn't turn 19 until Dec., but he's enjoyed a good season in the top German league while showing off impressive defensive switch-ability and interior scoring touch. At 6'9 with a 9'3 standing reach, Essengue is a fluid athlete who can cover ground on the perimeter and wall up at the rim with his length. He runs the floor like a gazelle in transition, and can even shake some defenders with his handle as long as he's not facing ball pressure. His scoring efficiency (61.2 true shooting percentage) was phenomenal for someone so young in a pro league, which lends optimism to his offensive projection even if his shooting numbers from deep are a bit rough. Essengue is a bet on youthful production, physical tools, and motor. If a team can iron out his jump shot, they should have a lot to work with.

The Ringer — J. Kyle Mann

12. Jase Richardson, Michigan State

If you're just now parachuting in on the draft: Yes, Jason Richardson has a son, and no, they are not similar players. Jase wasn't the focal point of his Michigan State team, but he gradually made himself indispensable this past season because of how dependable his 3-point shot was off the catch, how willing and able he was to keep the ball moving if he attacked a closeout, and how well he held up in the team's overall defensive scheme. Measuring at just over 6 feet at the combine has deflated his case some, but playing next to a bigger guard like Josh Giddey could help cover for that. If he's contributing to the team's success like I think he can, that's a win for the Bulls.

CBS Sports — Kyle Boone

12. Derik Queen, Maryland

You'll probably see Queen and Chicago linked a lot in the coming weeks. He's a skilled big man who would fill a need for the Bulls and help pieces in the frontcourt connect to Chicago's dynamic backcourt.

Yahoo! Sports — Kevin O'Connor

12. Jase Richardson, Michigan State

Richardson is a skilled combo guard with a lethal midrange game and a poised pick-and-roll feel, looking like he downloaded the experience of his NBA veteran father, Jason Richardson. Pairing Richardson with Josh Giddey could make for a lethal two-man combination since Richardson is so potent moving without the ball. Jase didn't inherit his father's height or dunk contest athleticism though, so his smaller stature could cap his upside. But the Bulls have a ton of length and versatility that could mitigate that concern on defense, and enough shot creation on offense to let Richardson thrive off ball while picking his spots as a creator.

45. Alex Condon, Florida

After missing out on bigs in the lottery, the Bulls would be fortunate to have a prospect of Condon's caliber fall all the way to the 45th pick. Condon is a high-octane Aussie big with a relentless motor, versatile defense and the playmaking pizzazz for no-look dimes. But most modern bigs need either a reliable jumper or immense interior size, leaving him as a bit of a tweener at this stage. With Nikola Vučević and Zach Collins having only one year remaining on their contracts, Condon could develop behind the scenes.
