Indiana Pacers 2025 NBA Mock Draft Roundup 2.0

Leading up to the 2025 NBA Draft, our Indiana Pacers Mock Draft Roundup will highlight recent picks for the Indiana Pacers from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

The following are picks in recent mock drafts for the Indiana Pacers:

CBS Sports — Cameron Salerno

23. Nolan Traore, Saint-Quentin (France)

I'm still a believer in Traore's talent. He has top-end speed to play point guard in the NBA. At this point in the draft, taking the best player available is the wise move, even if you already have a franchise point guard on the roster in Tyrese Haliburton.

The Rookie Wire — Cody Taylor

23. Joan Beringer, Cedevita Olimpija (Slovenia)

Beringer, who boasts a reported 7-foot, 5-inch wingspan, is projected to be a first-round pick, given his versatility, athleticism and rim protection. He is averaging 5.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.4 blocks on 62.1% shooting from the field with Cedevita Olimpija in Slovenia. The Frenchman is considered raw offensively, but has the tools to develop into a productive player at the next level with development. The Pacers have found recent success developing players, and could look to target Beringer as their next project.

The Athletic — Sam Vecenie

23. Joan Beringer, Cedevita Olimpija (Slovenia)

Indiana loves these athletic big men and could use another player to develop into a backup role this summer, even if Myles Turner decides to stick around. The Pacers need a long-term backup center solution. Beringer might not be ready to step into that role from day one, but he possesses the kind of tools necessary to turn into a tremendous running partner out in transition for Tyrese Haliburton down the road. He's a tremendous leaper who can sky for the basketball, but more than that, his hands are phenomenal. He catches everything both in and outside of his area with ease. He fits the archetype of a rim-running, shot-swatting big man who will have low offensive usage but be able to play in versatile situations on defense if his game develops well over the next three years.

Bleacher Report — Jonathan Wasserman

23. Joan Beringer, Cedevita Olimpija (Slovenia)

Pro Comparison: Clint Capela

Joan Beringer has entered this year's draft discussion with a high shot-blocking rate and highlights of defensive mobility at 6'11".

Despite lacking any real offensive skill, his physical tools, movement and effectiveness suggest the rim protection, shot-contesting and finishing should be translatable to the same role he plays for Cedevita.

ESPN — Givony/Woo

23. Nique Clifford, Colorado State

Scouting report: Clifford has built positive buzz this spring, receiving consideration from teams inside the top 20, with a chance to be a riser over the next few weeks. The dearth of experienced, reliable older college wings will help Clifford's stock coming off a do-it-all season at Colorado State. As an above-average athlete who can play a variety of roles, he is tracking as a plug-and-play option for teams looking to address a need directly with their selection. -- Woo

NBA intel and fit: Indiana has used the draft well to cultivate depth in recent years and is entering a win-now phase with Tyrese Haliburton elevating the franchise. Clifford's readiness to contribute would be a boost for the Pacers' bench, which presently lacks a bigger, more athletic wing defender in his mold. -- Woo

SB Nation — Ricky O'Donnell

23. Adou Thiero, Arkansas

Thiero is a physical and athletic combo forward who attacks the basket with aggression, brings defensive versatility, and excels in transition. Thiero has a fantastic combination of length and explosiveness with a 7-foot wingspan and some of the best leaping ability in the class. He plays like he was shot out of a cannon on both ends of the floor. He's mostly a straight-line driver and cutter offensively who can finish above the rim when he gets a chance. Defensively, he can switch a bit and offers some supplemental rim protection. Thiero's three-point shooting is both low volume and inaccurate (28.4 percent on his career), and he struggled to stay healthy this season. Still, he has a natural role as an energy forward that flies around to make plays on both ends.

The Ringer — J. Kyle Mann

23. Rasheer Fleming, St. Joseph's

Fleming's sky-high steal and block percentages and low-waste offensive skills have made him one of the analytics darlings of this class. Tidy shot charts like Fleming's can be engineered by the right NBA system, but his defensive skills are hard to come by. The 6-foot-9 big can float between guarding bigger, stronger forwards and perimeter players who want to get it going off the dribble. It's his primary selling point and a nice fit for the Pacers, who could use some depth in that area.

CBS Sports — Kyle Boone

23. Thomas Sorber, Georgetown

Sorber was quietly one of the most productive freshmen in college hoops this season, averaging 14.5 points and 8.5 boards at Georgetown. He's a natural scorer inside with soft hands and a natural shot-swatter on the other end to boot.

Yahoo! Sports — Kevin O'Connor

23. Maxime Raynaud, Stanford

With Myles Turner entering free agent this offseason, the Pacers could be in need of a center. Even if he does return, Raynaud could serve as a backup center or give Indiana a versatile option for a two-big look. Raynaud has leveled up every year at Stanford, turning into a player who pops 3s, slashes to the rim with a smooth handle, and makes eye-popping passes. As a talented passer who also offers solid defense, there's little reason to think the Frenchman won't carve out an NBA role.

54. Jamir Watkins, Florida State

Watkins is a versatile player who can run the show, slash to the paint, and switch across positions on defense. These versatile qualities seem tailor made for Indiana's multi-creator offense. But the development of his jumper is stuck in quicksand, which raises questions about his ability to excel in a less prominent on-ball role.
