Cleveland Browns NFL Mock Draft Roundup 1.0
Throughout the year and leading up to the 2027 NFL Draft, we will update our Cleveland Browns Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Cleveland Browns from several prominent sites and draft analysts.
The following are picks from recent NFL mock drafts for the Cleveland Browns:
4. Sam Leavitt, QB, LSU
Leavitt was overshadowed, at times, at Arizona State by former teammate and new Saints wide receiver Jordyn Tyson, but the quarterback is an exciting NFL prospect in his own right. Leavitt has the combination of arm talent and athleticism to follow the same path that Commanders QB Jayden Daniels took — leaving Arizona State to win the Heisman Trophy and become a top-five NFL draft selection. Leavitt missed the second half of last season with a Lisfranc injury, but if he can stay healthy, he is going to put up eye-popping numbers in Lane Kiffin's offense.
For the Win — Christian D'Andrea
4. Julian Sayin, QB, Ohio State
Cleveland stays local in its latest attempt to slice the tangled knot that is its horribly managed quarterback position. Sayin is on the smaller size for a pure pocket passer, but proved to be one of the FBS' most efficient players as a sophomore last fall.
4. Jeremiah Smith, WR, Ohio State
Smith is better than Marvin Harrison Jr. coming out of Ohio State. And I'm guessing we'll be comparing him more to the likes of Julio Jones or Megatron by next spring.
4. CJ Carr, QB, Notre Dame
Every year a QB ascends from the pack and shoots up the draft. Carr could be that guy in 2027 after an encouraging first season as a starter. He finished last season with 2,741 passing yards and 24 touchdowns to six interceptions. He has a snappy release and excellent command at the line. And Carr has polished throwing mechanics, with his eyes, base and throwing motion all tying together.
The sample is small (12 starts), but expanding on his 2025 season would put him in position to be taken by a team such as the Browns, who will likely be willing to take a swing at a QB early despite selecting three in the past two drafts.

3. Dante Moore, QB, Oregon
The Browns did an excellent job addressing offensive needs in the 2026 NFL Draft, setting up a scenario for them to grab a quarterback early next April and drop him into a ready-to-go offense. Assuming he continues to ascend, Moore will be in the top-three mix in 2027.
4. Colin Simmons, EDGE, Texas
A former five-star out of Duncanville High School (Texas), Simmons burst onto the collegiate scene, finishing just shy of double-digit sacks as a freshman before adding 12 more as a sophomore. A quick-twitch, explosive pass rusher with relentless tenacity, he possesses rare physical tools off the edge that help offset concerns about his length and overall mass at the next level.
4. Arch Manning, QB, Texas
Manning may be the most discussed prospect in next year's class, regardless of where his draft stock ends up. He has all the resources to deliver an impressive 2026 season at Texas, but even if he falls slightly short of expectations, he possesses an athletic profile — 6-foot-4, 219 pounds with legitimate speed — that most other top quarterback prospects cannot match.
