Leading up to the 2026 NFL Draft, we will track where Tennessee Volunteers cornerback Colton Hood appears in the latest NFL mock drafts.
Colton Hood NFL Mock Drafts
Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Colton Hood has appeared:
No. 32 overall — Seattle Seahawks
After letting Riq Woolen walk in free agency, Seattle replenishes its cornerback depth with Hood, who had 50 tackles, eight pass breakups, an interception and a forced fumble in his lone season with the Vols.
No. 33 overall — New York Jets
The Jets traded away Sauce Gardner to the Colts last season, a move that was impossible to turn down given the two first-round picks in return. Hood is an explosive corner who shows up against the run and brings good ball skills along with his 4.44 speed. He helped Tennessee withstand the absence of Jermod McCoy in 2025, finishing with 10 pass breakups.
No. 29 overall — Kansas City Chiefs (via LAR)
With Jaylen Watson and Trent McDuffie off to the Rams, cornerback has become a severe, immediate need for the Chiefs. Here they can take a dice roll on the talented Hood, who would have plenty of chances to make plays on the ball with Chris Jones and the previously mock-drafted Rueben Bain Jr. getting after the quarterback.
No. 29 overall — Kansas City Chiefs (via LAR)
With McDuffie and Watson gone, K.C. gets to work rebuilding its secondary with a guy who should be a plug-and-play starter.
No. 29 overall — Kansas City Chiefs (via LAR)
The Chiefs land one of the most complete cornerbacks in the draft. Hood can cover and play the run, filling a big void in a secondary that is being rebuilt.
No. 32 overall — Seattle Seahawks
Twenty picks after Jermod McCoy came off the board, another Tennessee corner closes out Round 1 of this mock draft. Hood fits perfectly with the Mike Macdonald defense as a cornerback with length and decent speed, and while he had only one interception in 2025, he broke up 10 passes. The defending Super Bowl champions returned Josh Jobe and brought in Noah Igbinoghene, but Riq Woolen is off to the Eagles. Hood could get significant reps on the outside in Year 1.
