Brian Thomas Jr. — NFL Mock Draft Roundup 2.0

Leading up to the 2024 NFL Draft, we will track where LSU Tigers wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. appears in the latest NFL mock drafts.

Brian Thomas Jr. NFL Mock Drafts

Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Thomas has appeared:

CBS Sports - Kyle Stackpole

#15 overall, Indianapolis Colts

The Colts would have loved Mitchell here, but getting Anthony Richardson a big, explosive, speedy wideout works, too.

NFL.com - Eric Edholm

#19 overall (TRADE), Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys don't have a ton of extra picks laying around, but I could see them being aggressive with Thomas surprisingly still on the board at this juncture. Dallas really needs to add pass-catching threats and might have to trade up to ensure landing one like this LSU product. He's an explosive talent who can help shield CeeDee Lamb from seeing so many tricked-up coverages.

The Ringer - Danny Kelly

#17 overall, Jacksonville Jaguars

After losing Calvin Ridley to the Titans in free agency, the Jaguars look to fill a need with Thomas, a lid-lifting speed demon who can line up all over the formation. Thomas complements Gabe Davis, Christian Kirk, and Evan Engram well, giving Jacksonville another deep threat who can get over the top of a defense but also brings the speed and elusiveness to take a simple slant route to the house.

NFL.com - Charles Davis

#28 overall, Buffalo Bills

Yes, Malik Nabers will be the first LSU receiver off the board this year, but I believe the Bills would be getting a steal here. I think Thomas possesses Pro Bowl potential (and beyond).

CBS Sports - Pete Prisco

#17 overall, Jacksonville Jaguars

They tried to keep Calvin Ridley, but he went to Tennessee. So now they add a speedy, big player to go with Gabe Davis, Christian Kirk and Zay Jones. They could consider corner here as well.

ESPN - Matt Miller

#12 overall (TRADE), Arizona Cardinals

After trading back from No. 4, the Cardinals can still land someone who can become a WR1 and be a top-flight downfield target for quarterback Kyler Murray. Thomas led the nation in receiving touchdowns last season (17) and fills a hole with Marquise Brown off to Kansas City in free agency. Thomas' vertical speed and catch radius would be great for the Cards, who currently have Michael Wilson and Greg Dortch slotted into the two starting receiver spots.

ESPN - Mike Tannenbaum

#17 overall, Jacksonville Jaguars

Calvin Ridley went to the Titans, and although the Jaguars added Gabe Davis to a receiver room that includes Christian Kirk and Zay Jones, they need a true No. 1 target. Thomas has the 6-3 size and 4.33 speed to be a difference-maker. He had an incredible 2023 season with 68 catches, 1,177 yards and 17 TDs. Trevor Lawrence will be ecstatic with this pick.

The Athletic - Ben Standig

#15 overall, Indianapolis Colts

The FBS leader with 17 touchdown receptions last season adds size and speed to help second-year quarterback Anthony Richardson. Going cornerback is the alternate path, especially with Alabama's Terrion Arnold available, but solid Day 2 options exist.
